She does return for later guest appearances over the rest of the show's run. Their relationship was certainly one of starts and stops, but by season 10 we learn that she and Grissom have married, that they have divorced by season 13, and that in the last episode she returns to be with him. Both the and Gil appear in the first season of the later series "CSI: Vegas".

She needs medical marijuana to alleviate her treatment for cancer and attracts first Horatio's sympathy and then his affection. They marry in season 4, but she is shot dead by a sniper in a later episode.
6. Teresa
Answer: Patrick
The TV show "The Mentalist" is one of a number of shows where a police force is aided by a talented civilian (compare "The Father Dowling Mysteries" or "Murder, She Wrote"). In this case a former fraudulent psychic medium named Patrick Jane, played by Simon Baker, uses his skills of observation and knowledge of human nature as a consultant to the California Bureau of Investigation, based in Sacramento.
The head of the unit is Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney), and like the show "Castle" friction turns to affection, and in the final episode they are married.
7. Richard
Answer: Kate
"Castle" is another example of the civilian aiding a police force. Richard Castle (Nathan Filion) is a popular and successful writer of thrillers in New York City . In the first episode a murder seems to parallel events in one of his books, and the Mayor who is a close friend of Castle's persuades the Homicide Squad to accept his advice.
When his assistance does indeed lead to an arrest, the Mayor persuades the Captain to take Castle on as a permanent consultant. The squad is headed by Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) and the series traces the development of their relationship from hostility through romance to marriage.
8. Brenda
Answer: Fritz

9. Lindsay
Answer: Danny
On the show "CSI: New York", Lindsay Monroe (Anna Belknap) became the female tech in the Crime Unit. Here she met Danny Messer (Carmine Giovinazzo) and after a rocky start -- she came from Montana and he persisted in calling her "Montana" -- they become strongly attracted to each other, and she becomes pregnant with his child.
After some starts and stops they marry. In a late episode ins season 9 she tells Danny that she is pregnant again.
10. Jameson
Answer: Edit
This was the most difficult of the identifications. The show in question is "Blue Bloods" where Frank Reagan, the Police Commissioner, has two sons in the force, Danny and Jamie (played by Will Estes). But we learn that "Jamie" is short not for "James", but "Jameson".
In season 4 he is partnered with Eddie Janko, whose background is Serbian. Their mutual feelings become apparent in season 4, but not until they survive a life-threatening situation in season 8 does she allow her feelings to show and they are married in the next season.
When Jamie meets Eddie's mother before their wedding, he learns that he first name is actually "Edit".
