Arthur and Kathryn Murray danced their way into Americans' hearts for ten seasons.

Host Bud Collyer urged on the contestants to do difficult timed stunts, usually involving balls, balloons and plates, and getting covered with water, jello or whipped cream.

Cigar-smoking George was the straight man to his 'brainless' wife Gracie. Neighbor Blanche Morton, played by Bea Benaderet often joined Gracie in her adventures.

Crusader and Rags, or Ragland T. Tiger as he was sometimes called, weekly faced their nemesis, Dudley Nightshade.
