After Ariel Augustus, Baldwin Pennypacker, and Miriam Mead were burned at the stake, Michael came across their charred corpses, still out where the witches left them. As he cried out in mourning, Cordelia appeared before him, saying tht because they'd killed his followers, he no longer had the power to terrorize them, and with her help, he could reclaim the humanity buried deep within him.

Instead of taking her hand and seeking salvation, he vowed instead to, somehow, bring back Ms. Mead and then come after the witches and kill them all.

Answer: Four days

Michael wandered out into the woods after leaving Cordelia and the bodies behind, heading out to a clearing and creating a circle to contact his father for guidance. With the warlocks and Ms. Mead gone, he had nothing else to help him, so unless he received word, he vowed that he would die waiting.

It took four days before Michael received a sign. He suffered hallucinations, seeing children offering him food and Ms. Mead chastising him for letting her die. He saw an angel before him and, soon, a black goat.

When Michael plunged a knife into the goat, snakes poured from its woulds. He received no guidance from any of this.

Answer: An alleyway

Michael wandered back into the city whereupon he stumbled upon an inverted cross painted onto an alley wall and, following that, he found a man waiting for him, allowing him entry into a Satanist church. There, a High Priestess led a congregation in their attempt to bring about the end times through sin and evil deeds, but it seemed like she wasn't finding any inspiration in her tepid following.

While she led the congregation in a bout of speaking in tongues, Michael struck up a conversation with one of the followers next to him who, noting his state, suggested he come with her for food.

Answer: A birthmark

The woman brought Michael home and served him some food before asking him to tell his story and he admitted that his father abandoned him and his mother tried to kill him. The woman tried to convince Michael to join the Church of Satanism to help spread the word and give in to his urges.

When she sold her soul to the devil, she got all she wanted-- riches beyond compare, at least in her mind. Michael assumed that to her, Satan was carnal pleasure, but she disagreed. Someone would come and plunge them into eternal darkness so that they could all walk through the hellfire in the end times.

Answer: Performing a human sacrifice

The woman who took Michael in quickly discovered that Michael was the real deal when she figured he was besmirching her ideas of the Antichrist and blaspheming by claiming to be that who she awaited, but when she held a knife to his neck, she saw the mark of the beast behind his ear and commenced prayer, hailing Satan to protect herself.

They returned to the Church of Satan soon after, arriving in time for a human sacrifice being held that night. A congregation member, Phil, was initially slated to perform the sacrifice, but when Michael arrived, he was easily able convince the church that he was the son of Satan.

He was handed the knife and he performed the sacrifice immediately, killing both sacrifices with one swing.

The Church of Satan, thrilled to have the Antichrist amongst them, soon invited him to join their post-sacrifice Wednesday pot luck. While Michael was satisfied to finally have some food, it quickly became apparent that they expected quite a lot of him.

He was asked about global annihilation, but he wasn't quite sure of the course of action to take. It only reopened fresh wounds; with Ms. Mead dead, he had no one to turn to for advice. His followers, however, encouraged him to believe. They could work around Ms. Mead being dead.

As the son of Satan, there would be nothing he could not have.

Soon, Michael ended up taking a ride along the California coastline. Discovering that the inner network of Satanists ran deep, he was brought out to a burgeoning tech start-up to meet with the higher-ups inside. In doing so, he had to part ways with the woman who helped him off the street, but he promised he would put in a good word for her, somehow relegating her to the lowest circle of Hell-- the best one, in her eyes-- so that she could burn and blister for eternity. Following this, Michael proceeded alone.

Answer: Cocaine

In the tech start-up, two robotics experts, Mutt and Jeff, who lead the operation, continued their work on creating realistic sex androids while their office worked around them. Out in their waiting area, meanwhile, Ms. Wilhelmina Venable, their personal assistant, berated another aide for delivering a late shipment of cocaine, maliciously firing her for her incompetence.

She would deliver it to them in a large, glass urn before delivering her oral report to them and, shortly after, they would be met by their guest.

Ms. Venable brought their guest in through the private elevator and Michael was greeted in one of the labs in their facility. Mutt and Jeff's antics initially turned Michael off from working with them, but they appealed to him by simply noting that they were not only unprepared, but needed proof that he was the Antichrist. So to prove himself, Michael stepped into the room and showed off his birthmark.

As if this wasn't enough, he immolated the woman in the lab with them before she could flee, burning her soul away.

The two scientists, over lunch, would thank Michael for everything his father gave them to succeed in the tech industry and vow to bring down humanity to serve him. Their first order of business though, would be to bring back Ms. Mead in some way.

The process of rebuilding Ms. Mead would be easy for Mutt and Jeff and while the guys started to bring it all together, they decided to make some interesting changes to enhance her capabilities, notably giving her a Mossad backstory that fed into her inevitable callousness in the end-times.

Her AI, of course, would be exactly as Michael remembered her. When she was finally revealed, Michael was shocked by how real she seemed. The guys warned him not to inform her of Miriam's true nature (at risk of existential crisis) before turning her on and letting her re-meet Michael.

She recognized him instantly.
