Answer: Admonition

The episode opens with 12 women surrounding a lit structure known as the Admonition that contains a message. General (later promoted to Commander) Oh tells the other Zhat Vash that it is extremely powerful and that they may not survive if they look inside it. Nearly all of them except the Romulans Ramdha and Narissa die or get very sick after looking at the Admonition. Little do they know, the Admonition was created by synthetics and when non-synthetic lifeforms look at it they do not see the true message.

Answer: Noranium hydride

While on Earth, Dr. Jurati had been approached by Commander Oh and shown the horrible images of the Admonition via a mind meld. This prompted Jurati to agree to infiltrate Picard's mission with the intention of killing Dr. Maddox and implanting a viridium tracking device on her. To neutralize the viridium tracking device, Jurati injects herself with noranium hydride that puts her into a coma but effectively disables the tracker.

Answer: Eightfold Stars

In the episode, Raffi talks with Rios's holograms inquiring about a Romulan symbol showing eight interconnected circles. He tells her it's an octonary star system but that the gravitational workings of a system with eight stars would be extremely complex and the likelihood of it occurring naturally was close to zero.

The Eightfold Stars were an octonary star system created by moving the stars into orbit around each other. At the center of the Eightfold Stars system was the planet Aia where the Admonition was located.

Answer: Eggs

Understandably, Soji is grappling with the realization that she is not human but rather a synthetic lifeform. Even so, her emotions feel real to her and she thinks that she enjoys eating the eggs but isn't sure if that is her programming or if she actually likes the taste.

Answer: Data

Similar to Soji and her twin sister Dahj, Data was a synthetic lifeform with exceptional cognitive abilities. Dr. Bruce Maddox created Soji and Dahj by using Data's positronic neurons. Wanting to know about her progenitor, Soji asks Picard what Data was like. Picard tells her that Data was brave, curious and gentle and that he was able to make the Enterprise crew laugh except when he was trying to make them laugh.

Answer: Alcoholic drinks

After Raffi left Starfleet shortly after Picard resigned over a decade ago she fell into a downward spiral and struggles with alcoholism. When the rest of the crew of La Sirena is in Freecloud, Raffi takes a detour to see her son but he tells her she abandoned him and asks her to just leave.

This causes her to drink excessively aboard La Sirena and fall asleep. Two days later when she tries to order bourbon and red wine from the replicator it does not comply.

Answer: Alonzo Vandermeer

Rios looked up to Captain Alonzo Vandermeer as a father figure and they served together aboard the USS Ibn Majid. In 2390 while patrolling the Vayt Sector, Vandermeer beamed aboard Jana and Beautiful Flower. Somehow knowing that they were synthetic lifeforms, Commander Oh ordered Vandermeer to kill them or she would destroy their ship.

After performing this action Vandermeer turned his gun on himself as well. Soji bears a striking resemblance to Jana so when Rios saw her for the first time he was startled.

Answer: Fear

Picard elaborates stating that they have openness, optimism, and the spirit of curiosity while the Zhat Vash only have secrecy and fear and "fear is the great destroyer". When Soji gets 'activated' she becomes extremely powerful and the Zhat Vash fear that she could destroy trillions of life forms if others like her were activated.

Answer: Seven of Nine

Seven of Nine was born a human but was assimilated as a Borg drone at the age of six after which she was rescued by USS Voyager in 2374. Much later she became a member of a vigilante group known as the Fenris Rangers. Needing assistance, Elnor activates Seven of Nine's beacon and she comes to assist with trying to free the Borg trapped on the Artifact. To do this Seven of Nine attaches wiring into her from the Artifact computer and awakens the Borg by functioning as their Queen and exclaiming "We are Borg".

Answer: Narissa

Narissa is a Romulan and member of the Zhat Vash who is a deadly assassin that wants to end all synthetic life in the galaxy. Her brother, Narek, gained the trust of Soji and was able to have her recall an implanted dream that gave them the information they needed to find her home planet.

After Seven of Nine activates the Borgs, Narissa is able to jettison many of them into space killing them. However, those still on the Artifact no longer follow her orders and they end up immobilizing her.
