Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Similar to Mars in our Solar System, what number planet is Soji's home planet, Coppelius, in the Ghulion System?

Answer: 4th

Soji's home planet, Coppelius, is initially referred to as Ghulion IV as it is the fourth planet in the Ghulion System. The planet is described as being hot and smaller and denser than Earth. It is orbited by two red moons.
2. As La Sirena is getting close to Coppelius, it is met by a large, flowerlike object that knocks out the ship's power. What are these weapons called due to their appearance?

Answer: Orchids

In addition to La Sirena, a Romulan spaceship and the Artifact (Borg Cube) were also nearing Coppelius when the orchids were sent into space to intercept them. The orchids effectively knocked out the power of the three spacecraft causing them to crash on the planet's surface.

It is later mentioned that there are 10 remaining orchid weapons on the planet of Coppelius, not nearly enough to defend against the incoming Romulan army.
3. As La Sirena is descending from a loss of power, Picard has a momentary lapse of clarity. He then informs the crew that he has a terminal condition affecting what body organ?

Answer: Brain

After the orchid knocks out the power on La Sirena, Picard loses his sense of reality and falls asleep. When he wakes up, Dr. Agnes Jurati informs Picard that she was able to run some tests using a tricorder. Picard then tells the whole crew that he has a terminal brain abnormality. However, he warns them that anyone treating him like a dying man runs the risk of pissing him off.
4. What is the name of the first synthetic lifeform on planet Coppelius that greets both Soji and Picard by name?

Answer: Arcana

Arcana and her twin sister, Saga, were created by Dr. Bruce Maddox and Dr. Altan Inigo Soong. When Picard, Soji and the crew enter the Coppelian Station base they are surprised that Arcana greets Soji and Picard by name and seem to know all about them. Interestingly, Arcana and Saga are played by the real-life twins Jade Ramsey and Nikita Ramsey.
5. What part of Picard's body does a synthetic lifeform tell Picard imply grief and endurance?

Answer: Facial lines

After Arcana identifies Picard she tells him that he was Data's captain and that she feels surprisingly moved around him. She then looks at him closely and tells him that his facial lines imply both grief and endurance. Picard doesn't have an immediate response to this as all of the crew members seem to be taking in their unique surroundings.
6. What form of communication does Sutra use to access Dr. Agnes Jurati's visions about the Admonition that were implanted into her by Commander Oh through the same method?

Answer: Mind meld

Sutra was a synthetic lifeform and the twin sister of Jana who was tragically killed by Captain Vandermeer under the orders of Starfleet Commander Oh while aboard the ship Ibn Majid. After she mind melds with Dr. Jurati, Sutra is able to view the Admonition's true message as a beacon for other synthetic lifeforms and to offer protection against oppressing organic lifeforms.
7. Named Spot II, what type of synthetic animal does Dr. Altan Inigo Soong have that is modeled after the pet of Data on "Star Trek: Next Generation"?

Answer: Cat

Spot II was an orange, shorthair cat similar to Data's beloved, biological cat Spot from "Star Trek: Next Generation". In the episode "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1", Dr. Agnes Jurati is seen holding Spot II until Rios enters her room and is surprised to see how Spot II looks so similar to a biological cat.
8. What is the name of the Romulan spy that is taken prisoner on Coppelius and initially guarded by Saga?

Answer: Narek

Narek had been following La Sirena as it traveled through space to Coppelius. His ship was also disabled by the orchid weapons and he was taken prisoner by the synthetic lifeforms. Saga tells Narek that he is their first prisoner and she is not sure how she is supposed to treat him. While locked up, Narek tells Soji that he both loves her and pities her.
9. Surprisingly, what does Sutra do to the Romulan prisoner?

Answer: Sets him free

Sutra tells Saga that she will look over the prisoner, Narek, but it is really just a ploy so that she can set him free and make it look like Narek killed Saga. Being able to frame an organic lifeform for the murder of Saga helps Sutra convince the other synthetic lifeforms that their best course of action is to initiate a beacon to other synthetic lifeforms to battle the Romulans. On the other hand, Picard tries to convince them to escape with him but he is silenced and put under house arrest.
10. What question does Sutra ask Dr. Agnes Jurati to determine her loyalty to the cause of the synthetic lifeforms?

Answer: A mother would die for her children, would you?

After Picard is put under house arrest, Dr. Jurati tells Sutra that she can be of assistance to Dr. Altan Inigo Soong due to her knowledge of synthetic lifeforms. Dr. Soong agrees telling Sutra that Dr. Jurati is the closest they'll ever have to a mother.

Not convinced, Sutra asks Dr. Jurati, "A mother would die for her children, would you?". Dr. Jurati responds "Yes" and Sutra knows she is telling the truth based on her biometrics.
