In "The Pack", the pack minus Xander slept there after they ate Principal Flutie. According to the book "The Watcher's Guide Volume 1", the gates to Weatherly Park are closed at 10 p.m.

"[Sunnydale]'s two hours on the freeway from Neiman Marcus", according to Buffy in "Welcome to the Hellmouth".

This earthquake buried lots of old buildings, including the Master's church (throughout Season 1). The old Sunnydale mission ("Pangs", Season 4) was also buried in an earthquake, but that one was in 1812.
