Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker were known as "The Seekers" by "Transformers" fans. They were three of the original Decepticons who crash landed on Earth in first series.

Perceptor was kidnapped by the Stunticons when Megatron became infected by the Cosmic Rust and used his invention of Corrostop to cure Megatron of the disease. Earlier in the episode the Autobots and covered the Statue of Liberty in it to protect it from corrosion.

Lord Chumley was a game hunter who in the beginning of the episode, captures a Soviet jet causing friction between the United States and the Soviet Union to flare. He also captures Bumblebee, Grapple and Tracks to lure Prime to his castle.

Megatron created the Stunticons to allow the Decepticons to be represented on the road as at the time the vast majority of Decepticons were jets. Rumble captured all five vehicles which were created to be Decepticons and merged together to form Menasor.

Warpath was the heavy weapons specialist for the Autobots. He used a lot of onomatopaeic phrases in the heat of battle like "blam" and "pow". He was a mainly a reserve character but took the main role in some episodes. Like Ironhide and Inferno, Warpath had an accent reminiscent of the southern states of America.

Buzzsaw made occasional appearances throughout the series, usually accompanying Laserbeak on recon missions. Buzzsaw was identical to Laserbeak except that he was gold coloured whereas Laserbeak was red.

Jack Angel also voiced Omega Supreme and Ultra Magnus. Ultra Magnus' voice in the film was done by Robert Stack.

The Combaticons were created from old World War II vehicles Starscream found. Starscream freed the renegade Decepticons' personalities from Cybertron and installed them in the salvaged vehicles. They became the Combaticons and merged together to form Bruticus.

The Heart of Cybertron was a crystal which maximized energy, allowing Megatron to unleash waves of power from his fingertips. It was discovered when explorers came across an ancient Decepticon ship which had crash landed in South America. Defcon was a bounty hunter who was tracking Ramjet, Astrotrain and Dirge. He was blue and had an Autobot symbol on his chest, causing Smokescreen to call him over for a drink when they met in a bar.

Shrapnel was the leader of the ever hungry Insecticons whose powers included controlling lightning strikes and creating clones of himself. Shrapnel was a Stag Beetle in vehicle mode.
