Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

1. In season 1, episode 1, we find Sam at college. Dean shows up to let Sam know that their Dad is on a hunting trip. They set off to find him together. What town do Sam and Dean head to?

This is the first "hunt" we see the brothers go on. They take down a woman in white, played by Sarah Shahi. A woman in white is a ghost/spirit who had trouble in love while alive and committed suicide.

Bobby is portrayed in the series by actor Jim Beaver. Beaver originally thought that his character would be a one and done episode deal, but became one of the 3 characters to appear in every season. This is the first appearance of not only a trickster, but the first appearance of an angel in the series, but we don't find out until much later that we've seen one.

This is the 2nd appearance of our friend the Trickster, played by Richard Speight Jr. We later discover that it's Gabriel pretending to be Loki, the real Trickster.

Personally a favorite episode for me! Sam and Bobby have to handle the ghost of Luther, who was tortured while alive by being dragged with chains behind a vehicle.

Chad Everett plays the "old" Dean Winchester, and does a mighty good job if you ask me. The female witch in the story is happy to end the game and tries to help Dean and Bobby, the reason being, inside her locket is a picture of an infant and an elderly woman. She misses her family and can't bear the fact that she outlived her daughter.

This episode features Sam being married to fake Ruby (actress Genevieve Padalecki), whom Jared Padalecki is married to in real life. The tweets that Misha Collins keeps posting in this episode were actual real tweets from the actor's account.

All of the choices are actual female characters from the show! Charlie Bradbury, played by Felicia Day, is the incredible IT hacker who we later find out in the episode isn't her real name. Jo Harvelle is a fellow hunter and daughter of Ellen. Jody Mills is a sheriff that has a recurring spot on the show. Pamela Barnes is the psychic who loses her sight trying to help the boys find out who Castiel is.

Writer and editor of the show, Robbie Thompson, who joined in season 7, revealed that Charlie Bradbury's aliases are always made up with a first name of a Stephen King character and the last name is always a science fiction writer's last name.

The monsters in this episode are identified as Pishtacos, which feed off of human fat. They are more like a parasite and do not hunt down their prey. They look completely like humans except for when they are feeding.
