Nikki was in a difficult situation, and was forced to kill her father when she was a teen. Her sister Casey was a doctor. Nikki tried to find out who she was and found happiness in working at The Bayou where she met Victor Newman. Katherine Chancellor helped her become a lady of culture and appreciation. Victor married Nikki. Victoria and Nicholas are the heirs to the Newman Enterprise empire.

At one point in her life, she was in great physical pain and alcohol helped her through it. Since then, it is a daily struggle not to drink, but she manages the best she can.

After Victor and Nikki divorced, she was married several times, including to Jack Abbott. They were expecting a child, and when the baby died, they gave his heart to a child in need of one.

When Jabot had financial problems, she put up 35 million dollars. She also was an entrepreneur and was credited for a women's anti-aging product line project. She remarried Victor Newman. Erica Hope was the original Nikki Reed in 1978 to 1979. Melody Thomas Scott had this role since 1979, which made her Nikki Reed #2.

Brad went to Genoa City with no job and became the gardener, hired by Jill Foster Abbott. He climbed the executive ladder. Brad married Tracey and they had a daughter, Colleen. Tracey and Brad divorced, and she remarried and lives in New York City. Jack considered him an opportunist and called him "The Golden Boy." Brad was kidnapped and held captive in a cage by his ex-wife, Lisa, and she was institutionalized. Brad was planning on getting married to Nikki Newman and was left standing at the altar on their wedding day because she went to Victor's side. Brad later married Ashley Abbott, knowing that the child, named Abby, was not his. Later, it was revealed that the baby was Victor Newman's, but Brad adopted Abby. The couple divorced. Don Diamont portrayed Brad from 1984 to 1995 and he returned in 1998.

Paul has two brothers, Steven, (Father) Todd, and a sister Patty. Paul's mother was Mary. His father, Carl Williams, was a police officer, and he was not found, so he was declared dead. Later, it was determined that he had amnesia and lived a new life as Jim Bradley in another state. Paul had a daughter, Heather, from a previous relationship with April Stevens. Paul was married to Lauren Fenmore. Lauren took a picture of Paul and sent it to a pin-up magazine and he later appeared in their calendar. Paul was shocked, and they were divorced but remained friends. Paul became a private investigator and opened his own practice, which flourished for many years. Paul married Christine Blair, but after Christine lost their baby, they were divorced.

Danny fought for custody of the child and with Christine's help, he won. Jill Foster Abbott found a hobo in the park and she schemed to get back at Katherine by using this man.

He became Rex Sterling and eventually married Katherine Chancellor. Katherine and Rex shared a wonderful relationship, and the scheme backfired on Jill. Sadly, Rex was killed in the cross fire when the home was being robbed. Danny was trying to revive his career and went on tour. Danny Romalotti was portrayed by Michael Damien from 1980 to 1998, who had a hit song with the remake "Rock On."

Castellanos has been on other TV shows including "JAG" in season 5 called "The Colonel's Wife" in 1999 and "Babylon 5" during season 5 titled "The Ragged Edge" in 1998.

Sharon and Nick adopted Cassie and she became a Newman. Cassie was a typical teenager and at the age where she liked boys and wanted to be noticed.

A boy, Daniel, who lived on the Newman property, noticed her one day and commented on her make-up, and she developed a crush.

She told her parents she was going to the movies, but actually she was going to a party where older kids would be. Daniel was wallowing in self pity over losing his girlfriend, Lily Winters.

He was drinking at the party and passed out. Cassie stayed behind when her friends left, and she decided to get behind the wheel and drive since Daniel was passed out in the back of the car. While driving, the vehicle went out of control and they were in an accident and thrown from the vehicle. Sadly, Cassie died from a brain infection in May 2005, and Daniel was blamed for the accident.

He fled from the homicide charges with Lily Winters, who believed his innocence. Eventually the truth came out that Cassie was driving Daniel's car. Cassidy Ann (Johnson) Newman was portrayed by Camyrn Grimes.

Malcolm arrived in Genoa City in 1994. Neil and Malcolm butted heads quite a few times because of Malcolm's past trouble-making days, but eventually both realized how important their relationship was. Malcolm became an apprentice to Blade, a photographer.

When Blade was killed, Malcolm inherited the photography studio and became the photographer for Jabot Cosmetics. Neil's wife, Dru, took some medicine and was delirious. Malcolm went to check on her and she mistook him for her husband and they made love. Later, both realized it was a mistake of identity and the only other person who was told was Olivia. Malcolm fell in love and married an AIDS victim named Keisha Monroe.

He still gave to AIDS fundraisers. Malcolm married Dru's sister, Olivia after Nathan had died. Nathan and Olivia's son, Nate, was very close to Malcolm and were devastated when Olivia and Malcolm divorced. Malcolm went on a photo shoot in Kenya with Neil & Alex, and was in an accident.

His body was never found, and he was believed to be dead. Later, he returned to Genoa City, again, with attitude. Malcolm became manager of the coffeehouse, Crimson Lights.

After a time, the brothers reconciled. Neil's wife, Drucilla, had two paternity tests done; one was the real test, and the other was a fake. The truth of her daughter's paternity was that the child, Lily, was Malcolm's and not her husband, Neil's. Malcolm gave up the Crimson Lights manager job and became a photographer for Jabot. Malcolm Winters was portrayed by Shemar Moore. Moore has appeared in movies "The Brothers" and "Motives". He co-starred in the TV series "Criminal Minds" as Derek Morgan.

Dr. Scott Grainger, Sr. and Lauren were married. Lauren finally had good news for Scott that she was pregnant. Sadly, Scott had news for Lauren; he had an affair with a nurse, Sheila Carter, and he was the father of the baby. When Scott Jr. was born, he had a birthmark.

Sheila wasn't pregnant and bought a baby on the black market and switched the babies. Sheila had the birth mark removed. Lauren's baby died and Lauren was heartbroken. Later, Lauren found out the truth about the babies being switched and she got Scott Jr. back. Scott Sr. died when Scott Jr. was a toddler. To protect Scott, Jr., Lauren sent him away to be raised.

It wasn't until 2005, when Lauren made plans to marry Michael Baldwin, that she finally decided to bring Scott back into her life. Scott Jr. had many questions for his mother. Scott is a writer and wrote a manuscript with Sheila, whom he knew as Brenda Harris.

The story was actually about Scott Jr., and until the book was published, no one knew this but Sheila.

When Scott returned to Genoa City, Lauren didn't know that Scott knew Sheila at all. Blair Redford portrayed the original adult Scott Grainger Jr.
