It was mentioned in more than one episode that Danny was gone for five years. The first episode showed Danny's first day back home after getting out of juvy.

Lacey said that she did what she had to do and that middle school was hard enough without being the best friends of a child murderer. This was mentioned more than once, but the time that I remember the best was when they went on their "road trip".

Lacey found an envelope with a wad of cash and a note that told her that that was her last payment and to keep quiet about it and that if she didn't, she'd know what would happen. Lacey then took it to Danny, who wanted to take it to the cops, but Lacey said that she wanted to figure out something about it first because she felt like she owed it to her best friend, Regina. So instead Danny took it to Jo. Danny and Lacey then decided to go on their "road trip".

The return address on the envelope was in Connecticut. So the gang went there to look for answers, but the only answer they got brought up even more questions.

While Danny went back into the apartment after the security guard threw them out, Lacey and Jo had a few minutes to talk and then found the building directory that showed that Vikram had that apartment. They decided it would be a good idea to keep that from Danny, and of course, secrets tend to bring people closer together.

A few episodes later, when Danny, Lacey, and Jo ended up doing an anti drinking video, when Serita got kicked off the video, she made a video of her own from Jo getting drunk at the party and then her outburst defending Danny at the memorial service.

"Socio Studies 101" was the name of the episode. I must have watched that episode ten times in the week that it premiered. I couldn't get enough of Rico's commentary and the 'lessons' he taught throughout the episode.

Even though we didn't learn anything new in this episode, it was cool how Rico went over everything again. It gave the viewers a chance to get any clues they didn't see before. This episode may or may not be counted as a real episode because it was a review episode; for instance, when Netflix picked up the season, that episode was missing.

At the end of the finale, Tess walked by a shelf that had some vases at the top of it. She walked by it then walked back to it, ripped the vase down and you saw the number that she carved into the vase when she made it. She typed the number into her phone and told Vikram to come back.

He was accused of poisoning his soccer teammate Cole. He kept telling the people that knew about it that he didn't do it, but no one ever believed him.

We found this out on the finale. Danny made Lacey go to the soccer team's party, and after she told Danny off in front of everyone, they let her back in the group a little bit. While Danny was still there, Archie old Danny that he shouldn't tick him off because he knew what happened the last time. He later confessed to Lacey that it was really him and Scott.

He was the automatic suspect since he just got out of juvy for killing his aunt, but the necklace didn't give him a motive. However, that was the only thing missing from Regina's house, and we knew that he had it.

The mayor hired Marilyn. Chief Masterson wasn't happy about it. Marilyn wanted nothing more than for Danny to take the fall for Regina's murder even though there was no evidence then that he did it. We know that Marilyn knew Regina and was threatening her; we learned that in the last episode of the season.
