When Tru turned 22 she began experiencing uncontrollable rewinds. She is called upon by recently deceased people for her help, and the day rewinds with her remembering everything that already happened. She wakes up and begins to twist fate in a better direction.

Answer: Her mother

Both of Tru's parents had the ability to help dead people. Both her mom and dad would have their days rewind, but we do not know until the season finale that her dad had this power. He had the power and he did not use it for good like her mom did.

Answer: Sarah

Cobie Smulders played Sarah. Sarah convinced Harrison that her estranged husband was a bad man, but she was the one who needed the help. Without Tru's help Harrison would have killed him. Cobie Smulders had a small role in the 2004 movie "Walking Tall" with Dwayne Johnson and Johnny Knoxville ("Jackass").

Answer: Jen and Amy

I hope you did not pick Derek and Jen, as they were brother and sister. Before the rewind Tru finds that Adam and Jen were killed in an auto accident, so she believes they are a couple. After the rewind she finds out that Jen and Amy are in love, but Amy is Adam's girlfriend. Adam had Jen in the car in both scenarios because he wanted to know the truth.

The truth is that Jen is a poor girl on scholarship to a school of rich kids, and she falls in love with one of them..Amy. They planned to run away together, and Adam found out accidentally about their involvement. Johnny Pacar played Adam, Rachael Bella played Jen, and Melissa Lee played Amy.

Answer: Jake

Jake was a hero with a serious medical condition. He knew he would most likely die soon and wanted to reconnected with his old girlfriend one last time. What Jake did not know was that he was also a father, and that his girlfriend's dad had made sure they never reconnected after he went into the military. Though Jake was shot when he tried to leave the hospital, it was really a mistake.

He needed surgery to live long enough to say goodbye to his child and the baby's mother. After Tru's rewind he had that chance.

Answer: Murder in the Morgue

In episode 9, "Murder in the Morgue", a bride is shot and killed on her wedding day. When the groom arrives at the morgue, he tampers with the body. This causes a confrontation that leaves Davis (Zach Galifianakis) shot. Tru has to make sure the bride (who asks for her help) and Davis both make it out alive after she rewinds. Galifianakis played Bobby in season two of "Boston Common".

Answer: Mr. Connor

David Lewis played their favorite teacher, Mr. Connor. Lewis played Stu on "John Doe" in 2003. Connor killed Candace because he wanted to steal her book. She had written a book about her years in high school and it was on the verge of being published.

He had tried for years to get his work published and did not think it fair that a snobbish, mean, party girl like Candace had it so easy. Jodi Lyn O'Keefe played Candace. She can been seen in movies like "She's All That", "Halloween H20", and "Teacher's Pet".

She was also on the soap "Another World" for awhile as Maggie Cory, and had small roles on "Dharma and Greg", "George Lopez", and "Charmed".

Answer: 4

Tru was not saving the right person, so the day rewound. She needed to make sure that Michael Mancuso lived so that his daughter could receive his heart. She needed a transplant and was fated to die that day without one. Alec Newman played Mr. Mancuso in this episode.

In the never ending connections between "Tru Calling" and the universe created by Joss Whedon (where Dushku played the slayer Faith), Alex Newman played Drogyn on "Angel". Drogyn was the guardian/keeper of the Deeper Well.

Answer: He has asthma

Luc, Tru, Lindsay and Harrison all end up spending Valentine's Day at the Pine Top cabins. Lindsay is appalled that Harrison brought her to a place like that, and with good reason. There is a serial killer there waiting to make the world pay for losing their loved one.

The key to the killer was a certain brand of cigarettes. When Tru and Harrison are investigating the possible suspects (Kevin, Carl, Hank, and Eileen) she finds out that Hank as asthma. He has an inhaler with his name on it for proof he couldn't possibly smoke, and Harrison finds that Carl was at his wife's funeral during the last Valentine's Day murder.

Answer: Pesticide

The wife of the cosmetic company owner planned to kill one of the contestants. The contestant was blackmailing him with a video of their make out session, so she would be guaranteed a win. She dropped liquid pesticide into the girl's liquid make up remover.

In the first scenario the wrong girl used it and died. So, the day rewound to prevent any one from being killed. Clare Kramer, Glory from "Buffy" season five, appeared in this episode. She and Dushku were both on "Buffy" and both in the movie "Bring It On". Poison fun fact: Oleander leaves are highly toxic. One leaf has the power to be lethal to humans!

Answer: Daddy's Girl

Wade Andrew Williams played Carl. Carl was hired by Tru's father to kill her mother, though Richard Davies convinces Tru it was a revenge killing for putting Carl away years ago and refusing to pay him blackmail money. Williams is another crossover for the Dushku/Whedon connection. He played Gregor, the General of the Knights of Byzantium, in season five of "Buffy".

Answer: No

The "Buffy" reference was to Willow. The horse's name was Which Willow. There have been many subtle references to Eliza's past on "Buffy" or "Angel", which leads me to believe that the writer's have a great sense of humor or she adds her own ideas to the show. Willow Rosenberg was a witch on the show, but she also went through so many changes (including a stint as evil) maybe the horse's name is just an inside joke about which Willow are we dealing with at a specific point in time.

Answer: Middle

This is revealed in "Two Pair". Also revealed is that Tru's mom tried to save the life of he and his wife. He died in his day one, and only his wife died in the second day.

Answer: She'd lost all her tuition money

Poor Melissa had become addicted to gambling and lost all of her college tuition in the process! Tru had Harrison get into the big poker game to keep track of her and hopefully save her life. In the first scenario she came into the morgue shot dead, and in the second scenario she killed herself. We can thank our resident evil Jack Harper for that suicide. Jason Priestly plays the darkly mysterious Jack Harper.

Answer: red, $1500

Harrison helps her pick out the car in the first scenario, and the asking price for the yellow one is $4000. Harrison thinks he gets Tru a deal at $2000, except the car turns out to be worthless. After the rewind she is waking up once again in the same yellow car (same as scenario one), but this time she doesn't give her brother a chance to get her into trouble.

She picks a sporty red car and offers $1500- take it or leave it. The sticker is over $2000, but the salesman concedes quickly. Also in this episode Carly, successful actress, fakes her own death so she can leave the country with her 8 year old illegitimate daughter and the press can never hound the child.

In scenario one Carly is accidentally killed, but Tru saves her the second time and never tells any one other than Davis the truth.

Answer: The Schenkman Center

Jack used the morgue as his mailing address. In scenario one, Davis finds out early about the letter Jack receives from The Schenkman Center, but Jack says he used to work there. In the second scenario Jack hides the letter early on, and Davis finds out later after Tru spots in it the pick up van. This is episode 18, "Rear Window", and it is pretty clear Jack is also reliving days.

Answer: Frank Colvin

Dr. Colvin spoke to them at the same time. He said "Save them". Tru was not sure who she was supposed to save, after Jack made sure they did not save Dr. Colvin. In the end she saved a student on a doomed bus ride, and an attempted suicide. In a way she saved the doctor's estranged son Marc as well. Marc believed his father thought him a failure for being an artist. But, at the end of this episode he sees that his father was proud of him and had many of his paintings hung up in his home.

Answer: Harrison's death

Harrison does die the first time, and just when you think he'll never ask for help.. he does. The day rewinds and Jack once again works against Tru. He tries to make sure Harrison dies, but Tru stops the man from shooting him. So, Jack has to make sure someone takes Harrison's place in death.

Answer: After the wedding, scenario 2

There was no "after the wedding" in scenario 1. The wedding was never completed because Davis brought Tru word of Harrison's shooting. So, in scenario 2 Tru brought Harrison instead of Luc to Lindsay's wedding. Luc did show up though, because Lindsay called him.

While dancing at the reception, Tru reveals her power to Luc and he leaves. Jack finds him in the dark room at the morgue, and when he realizes Tru has explained the rewind to him, he arranges for Luc to take Harrison's place in death.

Answer: Richard Davies

Richard pulls up and Jack gets in to talk to him. Apparently Richard sought Jack out and put him onto Tru's trail. Richard is a rewinder like Elise Davies, and like Jack he worked on the side of death. Jack told Tru that every time she saved someone she was playing with fate and that universe keeps score. I think Jack believes that if he had stayed dead his sister would have lived. Elise and Tru are like guardian angels, while Richard and Jack are like grim reapers.
