Henry Stauf was a petty thief who killed a woman while stealing her purse. That night he dreamt a toy doll, that he carved the following day and sold for food and drinks. He continued having dreams and making unique toys that were selling like hot cakes. He made lots of money and build the mansion following another dream.
2. Stauf sent out invitations to several people to spend the night at the mansion. How many people received invitations?

Answer: Six

Although the game is called the "7th Guest", only six invitations were sent out. The guests were three women and three men. When the guests got there, they didn't find Stauf waiting for them. Instead, they found various games and a note saying that they had to play some games.
