quiz
Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In 'Turnabout Visitor' during your investigation, a prosecutor bursts in and starts getting really upset. What does he call the victim?

Answer: Jim

This prosecutor is Jacques Portsman, whose detective partner, Buddy Faith, was murdered. Later he accuses both Gumshoe and Maggey of the murder, however Edgeworth proves them innocent. After investigating the hallway at the Prosecutor's Office, Edgeworth deduces that Portsman is the real culprit.
2. Halfway through the case 'Turnabout Airlines', which prosecutor, who we are all familiar with, appears?

Answer: Franziska von Karma

After the plane lands in the USA, Franziska investigates the plane and argues that she has proof that Edgeworth is the culprit (he was indicted in the beginning after being in the lounge when the body was discovered). After investigating the cargo hold, however, she changes her reasoning to state that Rhoda Teneiro, the main flight attendant, is the culprit.

After some deductions, Edgeworth then realises that Cammy Meele, the other flight attendant, is the true culprit.
3. In 'The Kidnapped Turnabout', Lance Amano is kidnapped by three individuals. Which of these people is the mastermind behind it?

Answer: Lance Amano

Lance kidnapped himself because he was in debt. He needed to steal the money from his own father to pay his bills. Lauren Paups and Colin Devorae (who was posing as Oliver Deacon) assisted him. He also had to capture Edgeworth to make sure he stayed out of the investigation.
4. The fourth case in the first game, 'Turnabout Reminiscence', occurs seven years before 'The Kidnapped Turnabout'. How old is Kay Faraday during this case?

Answer: 10

During the recess, Kay put together the dollar she had received from Edgeworth with Gumshoe's $5 bonus to collectively obtain a pack of swiss rolls. Gumshoe ate one, but Kay saved hers for her father. She then deliberately popped her balloon on a cactus to scare Gumshoe, who dropped half of his swiss roll.

At that moment, the Judge looked into the window out into the hallway, heard a 'bang' (which was Kay's balloon popping) and couldn't see Gumshoe in the hallway where he was supposed to be. This led him to believe that Gumshoe was the murderer.
5. 'Turnabout Ablaze' is the final case in the first game. Ambassador Palaeno, Ambassador of Babahl, loves offering people what?

Answer: Coupons

Ambassador Colias Palaeno doesn't help much during Edgeworth's investigation, but his main character trait is handing round coupons related to various things. Colias Palaeno is also the name of a butterfly, relating to Babahl's symbol of the butterfly. His secretariat, Manny Coachen, is the first victim of this case.
6. The second game is called 'Prosecutor's Path'. The president's main two bodyguards in 'Turnabout Target' are named after what?

Answer: Chess pieces

Their names are 'Ethan Rooke' (a rook being a chess piece) and 'Horace Knightley' (Horse Knight, chess piece). April May and Redd White were in the first ace attorney game (months of the year and colours) and Ini Miney, Mimi Miney and Moe were in the second (Ini Meenie Miney Moe).
7. In 'The Imprisoned Turnabout', what position is the real culprit?

Answer: Prison Warden

Both a prisoner (Sirhan Dogen) and his pet (Anubis) were both indicted by Edgeworth as the culprit, however the real culprit was Patricia Roland, the warden. She believed the victim was one of Dogen's evil henchmen. While she was interrogating Knightley, she discovered Dogen's chisel in his chessboard.

She thought that was the final straw and stabbed him with Dogen's knife, and she tried to pin it on Dogen. This plan failed, as the one who ended up getting arrested was Simon Keyes, but letting Edgeworth on the case helped her plan to get Dogen taken to a new prison.
8. In 'The Inherited Turnabout', the murder occurs during the finals of a dessert competition. Each competitor got their own room. Whose room is third from the left of the building viewing from the entrance?

Answer: Dane Gustavia

Gustavia collaborated with Dover to create his desserts up until the finals, where Dover betrayed Gustavia. Gustavia then tried to take pictures of Dover's work, which flew Dover into a rage. In a panic, Gustavia killed Dover and hid his body in one of Dover's sherbet sculptures. This is also the only room you do not investigate during the case.
9. 'The Forgotten Turnabout' is the penultimate case in 'Prosecutor's Path'. One of the characters from the series we know and love gets amnesia. Who is it?

Answer: Kay Faraday

She lost her memory after falling down a trapdoor on the top floor of Grand Tower into the secret 51st floor. She was discovered by Karin Jenson and was taken to hospital. Karin then takes Kay to Edgeworth's Office. Neither Karin nor Edgeworth know her identity, but one item (Yatagarasu's Badge) leads Edgeworth to believe that she is Kay.

She is then accused of Jill Crane's murder as they were supposedly together at the time of the murder. Edgeworth goes to all lengths, even turning his badge in at one point, to prevent Blaise Debeste from arresting her.
10. Near the beginning of the final case, 'The Grand Turnabout', the trial of Patricia Roland takes place. The trial was delayed for two reasons. One was caused by Sebastian going missing. What happened to the defence attorney?

Answer: They were murdered

Jill Crane, the victim from the last case, was Roland's original attorney. However, she was murdered by Blaise Debeste and so they had to make a last minute arrangement. Raymond Shields was then appointed as her new attorney, even though he assisted Edgeworth in proving her guilt back in case 2. As usual, he cooperates with the prosecution because he believes in Roland's guilt.
