Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Condition: Which would you use if you wanted to have the effect happen when a specific unit was on the screen?

Answer: Visible to Player

Visible to Player activates the effect when the Player actually sees the unit. Units in LOS is when the unit is seen by any unit on the map.
2. Effect: What trigger would you use if you wanted to give an Anubite 100 attack?

Answer: Modify Protounit

With Modify Protounit you can give a unit more health, more LOS, more attack, more armor or many other things. You can also decrease these stats.
3. Editing: Which key on the keyboard would you press to make a unit bigger?

Answer: K

When the key, "k", is held down, the selected unit will grow as large as intended and so potentially there could be a villager who is the size of a titan. If you wanted to make a unit smaller, you would hold down "shift + k".
4. Editing: What buttons would you push if you wanted to make the camera zoom in or out farther that normal?

Answer: Alt + Shift +C

This allows the camera to not only zoom in or out more than normal but also lets the camera pitch. After "Alt + Shift + C" is pressed, you can press "a" or "z" to pitch the camera. This is a great tool for cinematic or camera tracks if you want to make the camera zoom right in on a person's face.
5. Unit: Which of these units names is also "Shaba Ka"?

Answer: Kemsyt

When making a trigger, the name of Kemsyt is "Shaba Ka". This is different from in game play or unit placing.
6. Unit: Is there a flying purple hippo?

Answer: Yes

This can be created in the editor only. It never shows up in Random Map or in the Campaigns unless you use a cheat. It is has great speed. It also attacks by spewing hearts on its enemies.
7. Effect: Convert changes the ownership of an object.

Answer: True

This effect gives the creator the ability to make the player control a unit that was formerly not his or hers. This can be useful in creating a scenario when one realizes that a bunch of units were placed under the wrong player. If they have a lot of triggers correlating to them this can be a problem. An easy solution is to use the "convert" effect.
8. Condition: This is a condition that requires the person playing the scenario to type a chat by pressing "Enter". What is this condition?

Answer: Chat Contains

"Chat Contains" can be used to make your own cheats. Simply make the condition "Chat Contains" and the blank be something like, "Dismember" or something no one will ever accidentally put in. Make the effect something like create an Arkantos Uber or give 1,000,000 resources or revile the map.

Then when you type, "Dismember" or whatever it is, into the chat, your cheat will happen. If the trigger is set on "loop" it will keep happening unless an effect is "clear chat history".
9. Effect: If I wanted to transform a Hydra in the middle of a scenario into a Medusa, which effect would I use?

Answer: Change Units in Area

This Effect can be used in many ways. This can be used to change a unit from a Frost Giant into a Fire Giant or many other things. One example of when "Change Units in Area" is used in the campaigns is to change the Automaton statues into Automatons.
10. Effect: Which of these is never used in the campaigns?

Answer: Choice Dialog

"Send Spoofed Chat to Player" is used all throughout the campaigns. Every time a specific person says something in the middle of a scenario, "Send Spoofed Chat to Player" is used. "Set Civilization Name" is used on the very first scenario of "New Atlantis" when it says that your god is, "Abandoned". "Player Kill all God Powers" is used on the very last scenario of "Fall of the Trident" when you finally get "Blessing of Zeus". "Choice Dialog" allows the player to directly choose between two options.
