"Hovertank 3D" came out in 1991. It was followed by "Catacombs 3D", then "Wolfenstein 3D", and finally the "Doom" series.
2. When did the first "Doom" game come out?

Answer: 1993

The first "Doom" had three episodes containing nine levels each. The first episode "Knee-Deep in Dead" was available in shareware. These levels were also released with an extra episode in 1995 as "Ultimate Doom."
