1. In "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest" for the SNES, which is NOT one of the three classes of spells?

Answer: Blue spells

A total of twelve spells are available to be used, but you have to find them first. The White spells are Cure, Heal, Life, and Exit. The Black spells are Quake, Fire, Blizzard, and Aero. The Wizard spells are Thunder, White, Meteor, and Flare.
2. Concerning the origin of problems in "Secret of Evermore", did the butler do it?

Answer: Yes

In keeping with the theme of cheesy movie-style plots, the butler did indeed do it. You fight the professor's robotic servant Carltron in the final battle of the game.
3. In "Final Fantasy 2 US", many characters appear to die but miraculously survive to reappear at convenient moments. Which character actually stays dead?

Answer: Tellah

After using Meteo against Golbez in the Tower of Zot, Tellah does indeed fade away for good. Yang goes out in spectacular fashion when the Super Cannon explodes, but can be found in the Cave of Sylphs resting. Cid blows himself up sealing the path to the Underground, but is healing at the Dwarven Infirmary. Palom and his twin sister Porom turn themselves into stone in a seemingly irreversible fashion, but their Elder removes their petrification as shown just before entering the Giant of Bab-Il.
4. Which of Mog's Dances ("Final Fantasy 3 US") must be learned before Kefka creates the World of Ruin?

Answer: Water Rondo

In order to get this dance, Mog must fight either underwater in the Serpent Trench, or on the raft on the River Lete (accessed from the Returners Hideout). In the World of Ruin, the Serpent Trench is above water, and the River Lete path is also inaccessible.
5. Concerning "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance", will the technique Mog Rush always have an attack range of one square?

Answer: No

This technique uses a weapon, so the range of this technique will vary as the range of the weapon used. If you were to give a Gunner the Charge command set (Mog Knight), Mog Rush would suddenly have the massive range of the gun. As another example, if you gave the Aim skill set (Archer) to, say, a Soldier, the long-range skill-shots such as Aim: Arm would be limited to the single square range of a sword.
6. In "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest", monsters can be weak against weapon types.

Answer: True

Yep. Birds are weak against shoot-type attacks, trees are weak against axe attacks, and monsters like the Beholders and Gathers are weak against explosives!

Answer: Raiden

Sraphim can be bought in Tzen after the Magitek Factory is shut down. In the World of Ruin, Golem and Zoneseek can be bought at the auction house in Jidoor. Raiden is acquired when the Queen's tears touch the Odin shard in the Ancient Castle.
8. After Tellah visits the chamber atop Mt Ordeals, he can use every White magic spell and Black magic spell in the game.

Answer: False

He recalls "all of the spells he had forgotten", but he does not have access to all of them. There are a few missing spells in each category. Besides, with only 90 MP, he still can't USE Meteo...
9. Which of these four characters in "Final Fantasy 3 US" DOES NOT have their UNIQUE abilities changed when he/she equips a certain relic (i.e. the name of the command does not change)?

Answer: Cyan

By equipping the Thief Glove, Locke's Steal becomes Capture, combining a strike and a theft attempt. With the Fake Moustache, Relm's Sketch becomes Control, enabling Relm to spend her turn forcing a monster to attack. With the Coin Toss equipped, Setzer's Slot becomes GP Rain, spending coins to damage enemies.
10. Finally, concerning "Final Fantasy Mystic Quest", who/what is the Old Man who follows you around giving advice?

Answer: Crystal of Light

Yep, it was the Crystal of Light all along... Even in the title display before choosing a file, we see five crystals, four of which go dark. The hero character really got frustrated talking with it during the adventure. Thanks for playing!
