You can't fly it but a cut scene at the end shows Roth staked out for thread.

Your friend K'tan dies of the disease that is spreading around the Fort Weyr area. You don't see him die but you see his dragon go "Between".

V'hul is a green rider who Roth tricks into poising the Weyr and nearby Fort Hold.
