Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

1. The character Sue has a pet named "Puffy". From where did Sue receive Puffy?

Answer: From Justin's Father

Sue named it Puffy because it can only say "Puff-uu".

2. What do Justin, Sue, and Gantz call Gantz's Wooden Sword?

Answer: Spirit Sword

The real Spirit Sword is collected when Justin asks the Spirits to create a new Spirit Stone in the form of a sword near the end of the game.

3. Where does Gadwin train?

Answer: Valley of the Flying Dragon

This is where Justin first meets Gadwin and where he fights against him twice. Justin loses the first time, and wins the second time to learn Dragon Cut from Gadwin.

4. How many Spirit Stones are in the game?

Answer: 2

Some players think that there are 7 Spirit Stones. The 7 that are found in the game are actually fragments or shards of the original Spirit Stone. As mentioned in Question #2, the second Spirit Stone in the game is Justin's Spirit Sword. So that makes 2 total.

5. What happens when you use Justin's Spirit Stone during battle?

Answer: Raises Max HP

It can be reused as many times as you like. However, you lose this helpful little item about halfway through the game.

6. General Baal's airship is called the Granduer (The Red One). What is Colonel Mullen's airship called (The Green One)?

Answer: Lyonlot

This is a little known fact because the name is mentioned only twice throughout the entire game.

7. Colonel Mullen is the son of a human, General Baal, and what other species?

Answer: The species of Luc village

I had to put "The species of [blank] village" because most of the species in the game had no names. Baal married a woman from Luc village so he could learn the secrets of Luc village.

8. What are the level requirements for Justin's Heaven & Earth Cut?

Justin: "This is it! Prepare yourself! HuuWAAHH!"

Nana, Saki, and Mio are not sisters, though they do act a like it.

Answer: Neo

The hint refers to the character who said "There is no spoon...", Neo, from the movie the Matrix. Both techniques are actually the recycled animation of the spells Boom! and Ba-Boom. Both of which Rapp can learn.

11. Who gives Justin the boat he uses to get to the far east just before Disc 2?

Answer: Gadwin

Gadwin mentions that it was passed down in his family for many generations. It is also the location of the most romantic scene in the game.

12. How many times do you fight Nana, Saki, and Mio?

Answer: 2

You only fight each of them twice. First apart, then together.

13. Why does Baal want the complete Spirit Stone?

Answer: To resurrect Gaia.

Baal wanted to resurrect Gaia and become a God by serving him/it.

14. What is an Icarian?

Answer: A half Spirit, half Human creature.

The Humans and Spirits could not communicate normally, so the Spirits made the Spirit Stone to create Icarians, half Spirit and half Human. Icarians could speak with both Humans and Spirits.

15. What is the name of the Ancient Civilization?

Answer: Angelou

This is the culture Justin wants to learn more about.

16. What three weapons can Milda use?

Answer: Sword, Axe, and Mace.

Milda uses the same weapons as Justin, including Swords, Axes, and Maces. Also, Hammers and Wands are considered Maces.

17. How many specials does Liete have?

Answer: 2

Just two. Red Shock and Enchantment Dance. But she makes up for the lack with three unique magic spells. Magic Art, Star Symphony, and Enclose. All of which only she can learn.

18. Which one of the girls is Dorlin obsessed with?

Answer: Liete.

There is very funny optional scene if you bring Liete back to Dorlin after she joins your team.

19. What is the source of a Laine Wise Man's wisdom?

Answer: Their Horns.

Funny thing is, the Wise Men of Laine village all look like walking talking bulls - at least thats what Rapp says. I think they look more like giant Hampsters with little Horns.

The 8 characters include Justin, Sue, Feena, Gadwin, Rapp, Milda, Guido, and Liete.
