The fisherman tells that there will be a feast in the town of St. Olga and that it will be made up of leeches since fish are now very rare and have been consumed by leeches. You can find leeches in "Half-Life 2".

The superportal only shows up at the end of "Half-Life 2" when Wallace Breen (earth's administrator and the main antagonist of "Half-Life 2") attempts to open one, but it is closed by Gordon Freeman. While it was still open, we could see multiple citadels forming a half-circle.

After City 17's citadel gets destroyed in "Half-Life 2: Episode One", a superportal starts to form over the remains of the citadel. It is destroyed at the end of "Half-Life 2: Episode Two".

Lamarr is Issac Kleiner's pet headcrab, obtained through unknown means, it is debeaked, which means that it can't latch onto heads and turn them into Headcrab Zombies. It prefers to eat watermelons because they are shaped like human heads.

The Black Mesa incident happens when Gordon Freeman inserts a Xen Crystal into the Anti-Mass Spectrometer, it leads to many aliens teleporting in from Xen and eventually, in "Half-Life 2", the Combine occupation of the world. The aftermath of the incident destroyed most of Black Mesa and the aliens that teleported into the facility killed most of the employees, which means that Gordon Freeman was one of the few survivors of the incident.

When going up the elevator, you can see City 17 from a bird's eye view, the image is, in fact, a satellite image of nighttime Manhattan, a city in New York, USA. The window is briefly seen as the elevator passes quickly by it.

Stalkers are humans that have been drastically altered, their limb extremities have been replaced by metallic augmentations. They are unable to talk, as they have no more vocal cords. All of their genitals have been removed. They have no more muscle or fat tissue remaining.
