1. Who is the first boss you battle and kill?

Answer: Psycho Mantis

Revolver Ocelot is the only boss you fight in the game that does not die in the game. Vulcan Raven was the second boss you fight and kill. Grey Fox is killed by Liquid Snake in the Metal Gear Rex.

2. When did Snake first see the DARPA Chief?

Answer: In the torture room

Snake talked to, who he thought was the DARPA Chief but it was Decoy Octopus in disguise. Snake later found out that it was not the DARPA Chief in his conversation with Raven. So the first time he saw the DARPA Chief was when he was already dead.

3. What was the DARPA's Chief's real name?

Answer: Donald Anderson

DARPA stands for Defence Advance Research Projects Agency. He was killed by Ocelot by accident during an interrogation.

4. Who was Kenneth Baker President of?

Answer: ArmsTech.Inc

He was also taken hostage. Snake rescued him after the battle with Ocelot but dies shortly afterwards because of FoxDie.

5. How many members are in FoxHound's Special Force Group?

The members are Revolver Ocelot, specialist in interrogation and a formidable gunfighter. Vulcan Raven, giant and shaman and he has a body that can resist extreme cold temperatures. Sniper Wolf, who can stay in the same sniping position for up to a week without moving a muscle. Psycho Mantis, a former KGB he has powerful telekinetic and mind reading abilities. Decoy Octopus, master of disguise. And their leader is Liquid Snake. You fight all of them through the game except Decoy Octopus. All of them die in the game except Revolver Ocelot.

140.96 was Mei Lings frequency. 140.85 was the Colonel's frequency and 140.15 was Meryl's frequency.

7. How many times do you fight with Liquid Snake?

The first battle is on top of the communications tower when he is in the hind-D. The second is when he is in Metal Gear Rex. The third one is on top of Metal Gear Rex and the final battle is the car chase.

8. What was Grey Fox's real name?

Answer: Frank Jaeger

Grey Fox died in Zanzibar but was brought back to life. He was drugged for four years while he was experimented on. He escaped and all he wanted was a battle to the death with Snake. In the end he did die when he was killed by Liquid Snake in Metal Gear Rex. He was the only member of FoxHound to receive the codename Fox.

9. Can you get smoke grenade?

Answer: No

Smoke grenades were not brought into play the until "Metal Gear Solid 3" came out. Hand grenades, chaff grenades and stun grenades were the grenades you could choose from in "Metal Gear Solid 1".

10. Where is the game set?

Answer: Alaska

The game is set on a nuclear weapons disposal facility on Shadow Moses Island in Alaskas Fox Archipelago. The facility covers the whole island.
