He was most likely named after the Prince song "Purple Rain" because he's purple, and in "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon" states that he is a prince of Edenia. He made his debut in "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3".

Answer: Frost

Frost is the second blue Female Ninja, the first being Kitana. Other female ninjas include: Jade, Mileena, and Skarlet.

Rumours state that if you play the Sega version of Mortal Kombat for long enough with scorpion, you will become Ermac. These were proven wrong by the games developers, but they decided to add him in "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" as a sort of "easter egg". He was also the person to teach Kenshi telekenisis.

To fight him, you have to get two flawless victories without blocking, then perform a stage fatality, be at the Pit stage and a shadow must be flying past the moon. Reptile is loyal to Shang Tsung in "Mortal Kombat II" and is known for great stealthiness.
