1. In "Sonic 3 and Knuckles", how many different emeralds are in the game?

Answer: Eight

When you reach the first big ring in Mushroom Hill, your emeralds are taken from you. You have to collect these again. Many people think that these emeralds are different from the emeralds you first collect in the game, but they are not. And of course, lets not forget the Master Emerald.

2. "Sonic CD" gave us the debut of both Metal Sonic and Amy Rose. On which level was Amy kidnapped by Metal Sonic?

Answer: Collision Chaos

Amy Rose is kidnapped at the start of the second level. Her kidnapping is not the main story of the game, but is still pretty important. So what use would it be if she was kidnapped half way through the game?

3. What is the real name of the ending theme from "Sonic 2"?

Answer: Sweet Sweet Sweet

'Sweet Sweet Sweet' was a song made by the popular Japanese band Dreams Come True, who made the songs for "Sonic 2". They also sequenced most of the music for "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "Sonic 3 and Knuckles".

The Death Egg Zone is only in "Sonic and Knuckles". The only way to play it in "Sonic 3" is to combine it with the "Sonic and Knuckles" cartridge.

You can play as the six main characters in both story mode and two player mode. When you collect all A-Ranks as a certain character, you unlock extra costumes for the characters for two-player. Six of these costumes are hidden characters such as Metal Sonic and Tikal.

Answer: Sonic 2

Although there is a metal Sonic in this game, it is not actually Metal Sonic himself. The robot you see in "Sonic" 2 is actually called Silver Sonic, and is not the same Metal Sonic seen in the other games above. Although you may think that he is not in "Sonic Adventure", he actually is. Before you go into the Final Egg, there are a few capsules around. Inside one of them is Metal Sonic.

7. In "Sonic 2", how many emeralds can you collect in Emerald Hill?

Answer: Seven

There is a total of seven lamp posts in Emerald Hill Act 1 and Act 2. Every time you come out of a special stage, the level resets. If you move through the level carefully enough, you'll be able to collect enough rings for every lamp post you get to.

Answer: Knuckles

On the character select screen, his name appears as Knucles. Although they knew about it, Sega never bothered to correct the error.

You unlock a mode called 'Super Hard Mode'. This mode allows you to play through the game again in a much harder difficulty. Also, when you lose all of your lives as a certain team, you need to start their story all over again.

It was released for the GameGear in late 1991. The same version of the game was also released for the Master System at around the same time.
