Telltale's "The Walking Dead" S1: E1 Quiz

Answer: Handcuffed in the back of a police car

The first episode of "The Walking Dead" begins with Lee in the backseat of a police cruiser. The unnamed police officer talks with Lee about his situation and concludes that he must be innocent since he hasn't started babbling about how he is innocent.

While they are driving Lee notices that many police officers and other vehicles are traveling in the opposite direction seemingly trying to get away from the danger in Atlanta.

Answer: A walker crosses the street and gets hit by their car.

The police officer transporting Lee to Atlanta is not paying attention to the road in front of him but rather looking back at Lee when they strike a walker on the highway. This causes their car to go off the side of the road after which the officer goes through the windshield. Eventually Lee gets out of the car and has to shoot the officer with a shotgun after he had turned into a walker hell bent on killing him.

Answer: Treehouse

Lee stumbles upon the Marsh house after he jumps a fence after getting away from a group of walkers. While outside he calls up to the treehouse but no one responds so he enters the house. While inside he hears an answering machine with messages intended for a little girl from her parents who are away. Clementine eventually helps Lee by providing him with a hammer after he is attacked by her babysitter who had turned into a walker.

Answer: Barn

Herschel's son Sean takes Clementine and Lee back to his father's farm after Lee helps rescue him and his friend Chet from a group of walkers. Sean tries to convince his father Herschel that the walker epidemic is serious and that they need to fortify their fences and that Lee can help. Herschel acquiesces and allows Lee and Clementine to stay one night in their barn.

Answer: Kenny

Kenny is a commercial fisherman and his wife Katjaa is a veterinarian. They are from Ft. Lauderdale and live with their son Kenny Jr. who is nicknamed Duck. The family falls out of favor with Herschel after Kenny runs away (instead of helping) from Herschel's son Sean when he is being attacked by walkers.

Answer: Macon

Macon is also the hometown of the police officer that Lee is riding with in the opening scenes of the episode. Lee seems to be reluctant to talk about his family but he eventually opens up that his parents and brother live in Macon. Katjaa pushes Lee to try and search for them but Lee admits that he doesn't even know if they are alive.

Answer: He breaks a window with a brick and turns on a bunch of televisions.

Their initial meeting with the other group of survivors has lots of tension as Kenny Jr. is covered in blood and they're not sure if he has been bit. Kenny and the leader of the other survivor group, Larry, get in a physical altercation after which Larry collapses. Sadly Lee's family owned the overrun drugstore and he ends up taking the pharmacy keys from his brother who he is forced to kill after he had become a walker.

Answer: Shoots herself

After they open the door that she has barricaded herself into the group is able to see that Irene is in a great deal of pain and that she has been bit. Irene asks Carley for her gun so that she can die with dignity and not turn into an undead creature. Depending on the player's choice in the game Irene either ends her misery on the balcony or the parking lot.

Answer: He killed a man that was sleeping with his wife.

The first episode does not fully tell the story about the circumstances behind the incident. In spite of Lee not divulging these sordid details to his survivor group, Carley recognizes him as she is a reporter. She tells him that she understands his grief and trusts him in the dire straits that they are in. Larry on the other hand warns Lee that if he does anything to his daughter or Clementine he will personally end him.

Answer: He wants to see if his friends are okay.

As Lee and Glenn are talking a news report discusses the tragic impact the infection has had on Atlanta and other large cities. The rest of the group seems relieved to have found a seemingly safe spot to stay until they believe the U.S. army will take out the walkers.
