Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The object that you grapple on stays the same in all games.

Answer: False

In "Super Metroid" there were Grapple Blocks. In the "Metroid Prime" games, there are Grapple Points.
2. Which alloy is weak to regular Morph Ball bombs?

Answer: Talloric Alloy

Although sandstone IS weak to Morph Ball bombs, it is not an ALLOY, it is a stone. Morph Ball bombs have been a tremendous help in all "Metroid" games, including "Super Metroid" where a limitless amount of bomb-jumping can get you almost any upgrade in the game.
3. Samus' Gunship can destroy objects made of what metal?

Answer: Maldium

Samus' Gunship has been called that ever since "Metroid Prime" yet it never had a 'gun' until "Metroid Prime 3". Samus' Gunship was made in some junkyard planet called Aliehs III, but Samus designed the gunship herself based on Federation designs and Chozo designs.
4. Power Bombs broke Denzium in the "Prime" series, and the Power Bomb blocks usually came in groups.

Answer: True

Power Bombs were not in "Metroid Prime 3", yet they appeared in almost every other "Metroid" game. The original "Metroid", "Metroid Prime Hunters", and "Metroid II" did not have Power Bombs.
5. Denzium metal is usually found in what form?

Answer: Metal Gates

If you thought the question said Bendezium metal, it is usually found in rubble or ore form, but this question is about Denzium. Bendezium is found in "Metroid Prime" in solid blocks and rubble and also a couple gates, but that's in the pirate bases. Denzium is only found in "Metroid Prime 2".
6. Undamaged Grapple blocks can sometimes break if you dangle too long.

Answer: False

Keyword: Undamaged. There are damaged ones that will break when you swing on them. "Super Metroid" is the only 2D "Metroid" game to feature the grapple beam.
7. What do regular Missiles break?

Answer: Radion

That's right, Radion is an alloy from "Metroid Prime" and can be destroyed by missiles. Regular missiles can also break brinstone.
8. What alloy can a Super Missile break?

Answer: Cordite

The Super Missile only breaks Cordite and Super Missile blocks. This Cordite is usually found in statues honoring Tallon IV's star in "Metroid Prime".
9. Bomb Blocks can ONLY be destroyed by bombs.

Answer: False

Speed Booster can also break Bomb Blocks. The Morph Ball can also use Speed Booster in the form of the Shinespark in "Metroid: Zero Mission".
10. What type of phazon can be broken by the Phazon Missile?

Answer: Black Phazon Crystals

Gold Phazon does not exist. Red Phazon can only be found in "Metroid Prime" in the Impact Crater. Blue Phazon is not hard, it is soft.
