This stage is set in what seems to be a building under construction in New York City in the present day. In about the middle of the stage, after you fight your way through the Foot Clan, you run into Super Krang, who tries to zap you with his eye lasers.

The boss at the end of this stage is Baxter Stockman, a scientist turned into a fly. He is quite easy to defeat, as he uses the same moves over and over again.

Metalhead is a rebel turtle robot who was programmed by Krang to have bad memories of the turtles, thus making him their enemy. According to "TMNTPedia", Metalhead was endowed with the personalities of all of the turtles, making him subject to dissociative identity disorder.

As the title suggests, this stage takes place in the Technodrome, the stronghold of the Foot Clan. Tokka is a mutant snapping turtle, and Rahzar is a mutant gray wolf. They were mutated by Shredder when he released the mutagen ooze on them. This is the same ooze that was used to mutate the turtles and Master Splinter.

The yellow Foot soldiers appear in ceratin parts of several stages. Their bombs, that they seem to throw randomly, can knock you down as well as kill other Foot soldiers. They first appear in the stage "Prehistoric Turtlesauras".

Answer: Leatherhead

This stage takes place on a train in the Wild West in the year 1885 A.D. Leatherhead is a giant mutant crocodile who, in the series, dwells in the sewers of New York City. When fighting him he throws knives and what appears to be either a lobster or some shrimp at you, either way it is best to avoid them.

Answer: Rat King

This is a bonus stage that is as its name suggests. Basically you surf down the sewers while fighting off the Foot soldiers and Pizza Monsters. At the end, the Rat King shows up on some kind of watercraft that shoots missiles, lasers, and explosive spikey balls. His name is "Rat King" because he apparently has telepathic influence over rats.

Answer: Rocksteady and Bebop

This is a stage that is set on a pirate ship in the year 1530 A.D. If you play it on hard it can get difficult near the end. That is because there are some yellow Foot soldiers who throw a spiky discus that is very difficult to avoid. Rocksteady is a rhino and Bebop is a hog, they were both mutated by the same mutagen ooze that mutated the turtles and Master Splinter. They are considered to be Shredder's right hand men.

This is the first stage in the game that the turtles are time traveling after being banished to a time warp by Shredder. This stage is set in 2500000000 B.C. and has a dinosaur theme to it. The boss Slash was the pet turtle of Rocksteady and Bebop before he was exposed to the same mutagen they were.

He was trained to hate the turtles and vowed to destroy them. In my opinion, this is the toughest boss of the game.

Answer: Starbase: Where no turtle has gone before

This stage is set in a base on the planet Mars in the year 2100 A.D. The boss at the end of the level is Krang, without his exosuit. Krang is a warlord from Dimension X who was stripped of his body, so he is only a brain. He is also the one who designed the war fortress, the Technodrome. In this stage he flies around in an archetypal flying saucer that drops little robots, shoots some type of bubble, and attempts to crush you.

Answer: Hypnosis

You encounter Super Shredder in the final stage, "Technodrome, the final shellshock", which is not really a stage because it is only a battle with Super Shredder. He becomes Super Shredder after exposing himself to the same mutagen ooze that mutated all the other characters.

His only three moves are to burn you, freeze you, or to shrink you. All you have to do is hit him at the right time to beat him.
