Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Both of the North Africa campaigns are set in the same country. What country are they in?

Answer: Tunisia

Egypt didn't have any military battles fought in it, Libya was the site of the last few battles in North Africa and Morocco wasn't really affected at all. Egypt actually did have a few Nazi headquarters within it.
2. In the second level in St. Nazaire, France, one of your objectives is to take out the shore gun. As you are running towards the gun, one of the other soldiers makes a comment. What did he say?

Answer: "If we don't hurry up, we'll be walking home!"

The soldier was referring to the fact that the gun was eating up any ship that sailed by and if it kept it up, they would run out of ships. Surprisingly enough, even though St. Nazaire is right on the ocean, the port only had a few shore guns.
3. On the very first level in St. Nazaire, France, one of your objectives is to find the radioman to call in an airstrike. When the bombers come, what country do they represent?

Answer: Great Britain

You are with the British, so naturally British bombers come. US bombers didn't appear on secret missions until later on. Russia didn't have bombers then, and Germany certainly wouldn't help the British.
4. In the very first level in Russia you start off with two very nice guns. What were the guns?

Answer: PPSH, Gewher 10

PPSH and the Mosin Nagant are what you start out with on the next level. You never start out with the other two combinations.
5. One rifle that is very dominant in the Russian front is the Russian Mosin Nagant. In what year was this rifle first manufactured?

Answer: 1891

If you look hard enough, every time you pick ammo up for the rifle its will tell you, "Picked up ammo for Mosin Nagant 1891". This rifle was originally manufactured during the Russian Revolution but the year 1891 was included for its inventor.
6. In the very last level in the Battle of the Bulge, how many King Tiger tanks do you come in contact with?

Answer: Seven

Four in the first field, two in the next, and one appears atop a hill. These tanks are more difficult to destroy, unlike the Panzer IV's you encountered earlier.
7. In the second level in the Battle of the Bulge, what two weapons do you start off with?

Answer: Thompson, M1 Garand Scoped

For some reason they give you a scoped M1 instead of a perfectly good Springfield. You don't receive a BAR on this level unfortunately.
8. During the North Africa campaign you come in contact with German grenades all the time. Those are actually the type of grenades you carry. What were the names for the grenades?

Answer: Steihklerhand

Mark V is actually the British and American-type grenades. Potato Masher is actually the nickname for the German grenade, but that's not how you say it in German.
9. In the very last level during the Battle of the Bulge you enter Von Schrader's Lair to do battle. How many MG42's do you encounter while there?

Answer: Five

Two in the front, one right as you open the door, one at the end of the hallway, and the one that Von Schrader uses to battle you. If you get behind the box and lay continuous fire on him, he is actually a little easier to kill than the other bosses.
10. All through the game there is a certain type of German artillery gun mentioned. What are the guns called?

Answer: 88's

88's were actually originally intended for anti-aircraft purposes but were used for artillery. Fritz 42's did not exist, a 20 is actually an anti-infantry heavy machine gun, and the MG42 is a light machine gun featured throughout the game.
