Kim Campbell served as Canada's first female Prime Minister from June 25 1993 to November 4 1993. She was the first Prime Minister to have been born in British Columbia. She was awarded the Queens Privy Council for Canada, Order of Canada, and Queen's Council. Before her term as Prime Minister she was a lawyer, university professor, diplomat and writer.

Answer: John A. Macdonald

John A. Macdonald was Canada's very first Prime Minister, although his period in office actually included two terms (1867-73 and 1878-91), with the second PM (Alexander Mackenzie) in between.

Among the honours he gained were the Grand Cross in the Order of the Bath, the Order of St. Michael and St George, Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council, and Queen's Privy Council for Canada.

Macdonald on the $10, Queen Elizabeth II on the $20, William Lyon Mackenzie King on the $50 and Robert Borden on the $100.

Brian Mulroney was Canada's eighteenth Prime Minister, serving in office from 1984 - 1993. His predecessor, William Lyon Mackenzie King, had been blamed for not doing enough to restore the country's economic situation, so Bennett had a large economic burden on his shoulders when he took office.
