Mussolini's extremism was popular with socialists in Lausanne, but Swiss authorities saw him as a threat. He was exiled from Switzerland in July of 1903, but managed to slip back into the country a few weeks later. After several months, he was again caught by the police and went back to Italy in December 1904.
6. In 1910, Mussolini married Rachele Guidi. How many children did they have together?

Answer: 5

Benito and Rachele Mussolini would have three boys and two girls. Their daughter Edda was the oldest, followed by their sons Vittorio, Bruno, and Romano. Romano would give Benito a granddaughter, Alessandra, who would become a deputy in the Republican Chamber.
7. Which of these was one of Mussolini's favorite drinks?

Answer: strawberry sherbet frappe

A frappe made with strawberry sherbet, Chianti wine, and angostura bitters to be exact. Mussolini's fondness for this frappe was so widely known through Italy, that the drink was automatically associated with the dictator. Near the end of World War 2, a man named Giuseppe Marscone was lynched by an angry, anti-Mussolini mob because he had ordered the drink. If Marscone even knew it was a favorite of Mussolini was never known.
8. What was Mussolini's favorite football (soccer) team?

Answer: Lazio

More than fifty years after Mussolini's death, the Lazio team suffered severe image problems thanks to public knowledge of it being the dictator's favorite. At the beginning of the 21st Century, roughly 30 percent of the team was owned by the National Alliance, an extreme neo-fascist party.
9. Who did Mussolini reportedly dislike from the moment they first met?

Answer: Adolf Hitler

In 1934, Mussolini presented a pact to Germany, Britain, and France that would include Germany in European associations. When the pact failed, mostly due to the French's hatred for Germany, Hitler made a trip to Italy to meet with Mussolini. From the moment they met, Mussolini found it hard to be civil, later referring to Hitler as a dangerous buffoon and calling him "the new Genghis Khan".

Despite the initial hatred, Hitler would be Mussolini's strongest and most faithful ally during World War 2.
10. Where was Mussolini buried after his death in 1945?

Answer: Milan

After the fall of the Axis Powers in World War 2, Mussolini was captured, court-martialed, and shot along with his mistress, Clara Petacci. They were both buried in Milan in unmarked graves, but in 1957 Mussolini's body was removed and placed in his family vault in Predappio.
