Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
Answer:

Among the most recognizable goldfish are the comet and the fantail. The comet has what most people consider to be the standard look for a goldfish, the long slender body and recognizable head shape. The fantail, as the name implies, has a distinctive tail that many people recognize as well. The veiltail is a type of fantail goldfish, with another distinctive tail that is very delicate. Similar in body type to the comet is the shubunkin, who have various color patterns that separate them from the comet.

Ranchu and lionhead goldfish are similar in appearance, and both lack a dorsal fin, making them poorer swimmers than other types. As for the ryukin, although it has a dorsal fin, it is smaller than the average fin, so it also struggles to swim for extended lengths. In contrast, the sarasa goldfish, which most closely resemble koi, have a set of fins that makes it ideal for swimming.

The pearlscale gets its name from the patterning of its scales. They are another breed that have swimming challenges, moving more slowly than other types of goldfish. The last goldfish in the list is the moor. They are distinctive due to their bulging eyes from either side of their body. Despite that, their vision isn't great, so they have challenges that other types of goldfish may not.
