Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
Answer:

The Sisters are three female vampires who live in Dracula's castle in Transylvania. When Dracula leaves Transylvania for England, he leaves Jonathan Harker for the sisters since he no longer needs Harker's assistance. Harker almost succumbs to their guile, but he manages to escape, although traumatized with "brain fever".

Arthur Holmwood is the fiancée of Lucy Westenra, and friends with two other characters who were also courting Lucy: Quincey Morris and Dr. John Seward. Arthur inherits his father's fortune and title as Lord Godamling and uses his resources to hunt down Count Dracula.

Renfield is an inmate in an insane asylum and has a predilection for consuming insects. He was a servant to Count Dracula and assisted the Count in his plot to make Mina Murray/Harker a vampire.

Harker is an English attorney who travels to Transylvania to assist Count Dracula to buy an estate in England. Harker is engaged to Mina Murray, who Dracula becomes infatuated with and strives to make her his vampire bride.

Dr. Seward runs the asylum where Renfield is held and is fascinated with Renfield's psychopathology. Seward was a suitor of Lucy Westenra and joins the party that eventually travels to Transylvania to destroy Dracula.

Lucy is the best friend of Mina, and both are young women looking for love. Lucy is courted by three gentlemen and eventually picks the noble Arthur Holmwood as her fiancée. Lucy is transformed into a vampire in England and meets a bad end at the hands of her erstwhile suitors.

Morris is a brash young American man who is in love with Lucy and remains close to her after she gets engaged to Arthur. Quincey engages in the final battle with Dracula, and his friends Jonathan and Mina name their first child for him.

Van Helsing is an older, learned man, with broad knowledge of medicine, law, and occult arts. His main occupation is vampire hunting, and he responds to the unusual happenings involving Jonathan, Lucy, Mina, Renfield, and the other characters with an offer to hunt Count Dracula.

Mina is the love interest of the first two men introduced in the story: her fiancée Jonathan Harker and Count Dracula. Mina marries Jonathan but then becomes involved with Dracula in both England and Transylvania, where her allure brings Dracula into the reach of his pursuers.

Swales is an elderly retired sailor who befriends Mina and Lucy. After the ship carrying Dracula runs aground in their town, Swales senses an evil presence and mysteriously dies soon thereafter.

The incorrect choices are characters in other vampire stories. Armand and Louis de Pointe du Lac are from "The Vampire Chronicles" by Anne Rice. Caleb Smallwood is from "The Vampire Diaries" by L.J. Smith. Jasper Hale is from the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer, and Eric Northman is from "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" series by Charlaine Harris.
