Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. I told both Roger and Anita that the other dogs were not identified and, if nobody claimed them, they had to go to the pound. Who played me?

Answer: Andrew Readman

Readman was cast in the small role of a police officer. The police officer reported near the end of the film that he saw there were 100 dalmatians. Then, he noticed Lucky was accompanied by another dog and he said there were actually 101 dalmatians. Roger and Anita thanked this police officer and he said their dogs were the only ones with identifying tags.

He mentioned, if nobody claimed the other dogs, they had to go to the pound. Roger and Anita told the officer they would take the remaining 84 dalmatians.

The police officer told another officer to release the dogs. Readman guest starred on the TV series "Pie in the Sky", "The Chase" and "Monroe".
2. I told Anita that I remembered how much she loved drawing when she was a little girl. Which actress played me?

Answer: Joan Plowright

Plowright, born on October 28, 1929 in Brigg, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom, was cast as the nanny. The nanny worked for Roger and Anita and mentioned to Anita in her first scene she was thrilled to work for them since she recalled how much Anita loved drawing when she was a little girl. Midway through the movie, the nanny said that Cruella had a fiery temper.

At the end of the movie, the nanny said Roger and Anita had 17 dogs so perhaps they were able to take on some more dogs. Plowright starred in the films "Dennis the Menace", "The Entertainer" and "Revolution".

In 1993, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for "Enchanted April" but lost to Marisa Tomei for "My Cousin Vinny".
3. I told Cruella they could afford to do a line of clothing with dalmatian spots on them. Which actor portrayed me?

Answer: Hugh Fraser

Fraser, born in 1945 in England, United Kingdom, had the small part of Frederick. Frederick was in one scene when Cruella arrived at the office since he was a head honcho at her company. Cruella mentioned that she was interested in doing a line of clothing with dalmatian spots on them so Frederick was perplexed as he believed they were doing a line on stripes. Frederick told Cruella that doing a fashion line on dalmatian spots cost millions to the company. Frederick said to Cruella there was enough in the budget for this line of clothing. Fraser had guest starring stints on the TV shows "Rainbow", "Doctor Who" and "The Play on One".
4. I went on leave from my job once I got married. Which actress was cast to play me?

Answer: Joely Richardson

Richardson, a native of London, England, United Kingdom, landed the role of Anita. Anita was a fashion designer at Cruella's company and interacted with her at the beginning of the movie. In this interaction, Cruella altered Anita's sketch of a dress that showed dalmatian spots on it. Cruella started to laugh since she said, if they made this coat, it looked like she wore Anita's dog. One day at the park, Anita ran into Roger and the two befriended each other. That evening, they spent time together and got engaged. Once she married Roger, Anita went on leave from her job. Midway through the film, Anita showed Cruella's drawing to Roger and nanny and realized that she not only kidnapped the dogs but planned to kill them for their fur. Richardson was seen in the movies "Event Horizon", "The Patriot" and "King Ralph".
5. I complained about the cold and wanted heat. Which actor portrayed me?

Answer: Mark Williams

Williams, born in 1959 in Worcestershire, England, United Kingdom, nabbed the role of Horace. Horace was one of Cruella's bumbling henchmen but nonetheless was loyal to her. In his first scene, Jasper told him not to look at the scar on Skinners' throat. Jasper was annoyed when Horace noticed the scar and mentioned it was no surprise Skinner was unable to talk. Jasper closed the door and punched Horace in the face. Midway through the film, Horace was really cold so Jasper told him to check the tailpipe.

Then, Jasper turned on the car and a nut flew into Horace's mouth. In the final scene, as Horace, Jasper, Skinner and Cruella were in a police car, Cruella said all three of them were morons. Williams starred as Arthur Weasley in the "Harry Potter" franchise.
6. I was knocked into a vat of molasses. Which actress played me?

Answer: Glenn Close

Close, born on March 19, 1947 in Greenwich, Connecticut, was cast in the main role of Cruella de Vil. Cruella was easily tempered but had a keen sense for fashion since she owned a fashion house in London. Early on in the movie, Cruella expressed frustration when she read a newspaper article that indicated Roger and Anita married. Cruella once went to Roger and Anita's place and told Anita that while she appreciated Anita still worked for her, she disliked that Anita was on leave since she missed their interactions. Cruella hatched a dastardly plot where she abducted Roger and Anita's 15 dalmatian puppies. Near the end of the film, after the puppies escaped from Jasper and Horace's control, Cruella chased after them but was first knocked into a vat of molasses. Close was cast to play characters in the movies "Fatal Attraction", "Air Force One" and "Albert Nobbs".

In 1989, she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her part in "Dangerous Liaisons" but lost to Jodie Foster for "The Accused".
7. I revealed to Cruella that I had no idea where the puppies were. Who played me?

Answer: Hugh Laurie

Laurie, a native of Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, United Kingdom, landed the part of Jasper. Much like Horace, Jasper was a bumbling accomplice to Cruella but was otherwise loyal to her. He and Horace went to Roger and Anita's home and kidnapped the 15 dalmatian puppies. Jasper delivered the news to Cruella via telephone that he and Horace kidnapped the puppies.

While both Jasper and Horace were at Cruella's place in Sussex, the dogs slipped through their fingers and got away. In one scene, Cruella arrived at her estate and Jasper delivered the news to her that the puppies escaped, which enraged Cruella. Laurie guest starred on the TV shows "The Bill" and "Friends".

His best known role was as Dr. Gregory House on the TV show "House".
8. Cruella told me that she wanted Anita's drawing. Who starred as me?

Answer: Tim McInnerny

McInnerny, born in 1956 in Cheshire, England, United Kingdom, was cast as Alonzo. In Alonzo's first scene, he nervously answered the phone at Cruella's fashion house and then said good morning to Cruella when she arrived. Shortly after this, Alonzo was in Cruella's office when she chastised him since he did not ask Anita if she wanted something to drink. Shortly after this, she yelled at Alonzo since she wanted Anita's drawing.

When he provided her the drawing, she told him to stand somewhere until she needed him. McInnerny was cast in the movies "Notting Hill", "Castles in the Sky" and "Automata".
9. I told Roger and Anita their suspicions were justified that Cruella kidnapped the puppies. Which actor was cast as me?

Answer: Michael Percival

Percival had the small role of the police inspector. Near the end of the film, the police inspector was at Roger and Anita's home when he told them that their suspicions were justified since they identified Cruella as the one who kidnapped the dalmatians.

He informed them the police were aware that Cruella went to her estate in Suffolk that evening. The police inspector assured both Roger and Anita that they were prepared to arrest Cruella once they found her. Roger and Anita were pleased about this news from the police inspector. Percival guest starred on the TV series "Doctor Who", "Coronation Street" and "Inspector Morse".
10. I designed video games for a living. Which actor was cast to play me?

Answer: Jeff Daniels

Daniels, a native of Chelsea, Michigan, got the major part of Roger. Roger designed video games for a living but initially struggled with his business. In one scene, he showed a video game to a young boy named Herbert, who liked it overall but felt the villain was awful.

While he played the game, someone told Roger that Herbert picked the top selling video game every year in the past couple of years. While at the park one day, Roger became upset with Pongo and chased after a dog he thought was Pongo but turned out to be Anita's dalmatian, Perdy.

She had a bag full of bricks and used the bag on Roger. Despite this initial issue, they became friends and decided that evening to marry. At the end of the movie, Roger and Anita were seen at their new home a year after the events of the movie. Daniels was cast as characters for the films "The Purple Rose of Cairo", "Something Wild" and "Terms of Endearment".
