1. This red rocker had some great dreams, got the runaround, but never quite became a gigolo.

Answer: Sammy Hagar

Sammy was known as the Red Rocker before joining Van Halen and co-writing hits "Dreams" and "Runaround." Though a much better musician, he didn't have a personality like his predecessor, David Lee Roth, who sung "Just a Gigolo."

John was first known as lead singer of the Babys, who had the song "Head First." He had a solo song called "Change." He later joined Bad English (poor grammar) and had the hit "When I See You Smile," though they had some decent rocking tunes too.
