Stu Sutcliffe played bass with the Siver Beatles when they were first starting out. After the Silver Beatles went to Germany to play Hamburg, Stu met a local girl, and stayed behind. Paul McCartney took over bass duties.

Bob Kulick was Gene Simmons' and Paul Stanley's first choice for lead guitar before Ace auditioned, and has appeared on several songs throughout Kiss' career. Bruce Kulick is his brother.
