1. Rancid

Answer: Real

In the mid-1990s, Rancid was one of the most popular punk bands of the time. The California based band included Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman, formerly with the band Operation Ivy. Rancid was on the Warped Tour in 1998, 2001, 2003, and 2004.
2. Sugar Smack

Answer: Phony

Sugar Smack is a made up band name. But there was a Super Smacks cereal back in the day! Not sure how appetizing it was but the Kellogg's cereal had a frog as their cereal's mascot.
3. Body Count

Answer: Real

Body Count is a thrash metal band featuring rapper Ice-T on lead vocals. Their song "Cop Killer" got the band in hot water with Warner Brothers and were repeatedly protested against. Body Count was part of the Vans Warped Tour reunion in 2025 and they performed a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on the tour.
4. Zack Attack

Zack Attack does sound like one of those 1970s punk rock bands but it's a fictional name. It was actually the name of the fictional band on the television show, "Saved By The Bell", with Zack Morris as the band leader.
5. The Salads

From 2004 to 2007, The Salads were on the Vans Warped Tour lineup four consecutive years. They are a Canadian reggae punk band, you don't see that very often. Between 1998 and 2006 they released eight combined albums and extended play records.
6. Dog And Pony Show

Dog And Pony Show is a fictional band name. The phrase "dog and pony show" is when you're trying to impress someone like your boss. You put on a big production to impress him but it's all for show.
7. I Fight Dragons

In 2012 and 2014, the geek rock band, I Fight Dragons, appeared on the Vans Warped tour stage. The band wrote the theme song for the television show, "The Goldbergs" and their music was used by the WWE. Their style is called chipcore which features making electronic music using beats from Nintendo game systems.

727 is an area code on the Gulf Coast of Florida but it is not the name of a band that appeared on the Vans Warped Tour. Many bands like 311, +44, and 707 were actually band names using only numbers.
9. A Day To Remember

Between 2005 and 2025, A Day To Remember is one of the most famous bands to play the Vans Warped Tour. Between those two decades, the Florida post-hardcore band were on the tour seven times. They're known for big hits such as "If It Means A Lot To You", "All I Want", and their cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone".
10. Save Ferris

Save Ferris got their band name from a quote in the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". The ska punk rock band is based out of Orange County, California. Lead singer Monique Powell is the only original member of the band but she's the heart, soul, and vocals for the group.

Their cover of "Come On Eileen" is a modern punk rock classic. They were on the Warped Tour in 1998 and made their fourth appearance at the comeback tour in 2024.
