Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. During the season premiere, the winning queen (for that episode) performed a lip sync alongside who of the following?

Answer: Brooke Lynn Hytes

This sixth season of "Canada's Drag Race" started with a dozen new drag contestants as they kicked into an introductory music video challenge, presenting their best original lyrics and dancing to a remix of season 1's "Not Sorry Aboot It" (featuring Lemon with her rap bridge).

It provided a perfect early showcase for the queens who, in addition to having to provide an entrance look and their music video outfits, also had to hit the main stage in a 'More is More' category runway in front of guest judge Paula Abdul. No one went home this week, but Van Goth, who won the episode, was given the reward of performing a lip sync to Paula's "Cold Hearted" alongside host Brooke Lynn Hytes, a franchise first.
2. The queens encountered an acting challenge in their second episode as all of them split into groups to create ads for which of the following?

Answer: Cruise services

With all twelve queens still in the competition in the second week, the judges asked them to perform original skits to promote various drag cruise opportunities, and it meant making up comedic segments, all shot on green screen, to showcase on the main stage. Saltina Shaker won this episode and the power of the Golden Beaver, a reward she bestowed upon Hazel to save her from the lip sync.

It meant Sami Landri and Paolo Perfección were forced to perform. After lip syncing to "Raise a Little Hell" by Trooper, the judges kept Sami in the game and asked Paolo to be the first to sashay away.
3. In the third episode, the remaining queens were allowed to choose which challenge they wanted to partake in. Which one was attempted by more queens?

Answer: Snatch Game

For the first time in "Drag Race" herstory, the queens could pick their poison, determining which of the two tougher options they wanted to partake in between Snatch Game and a red carpet design challenge. There would be a winner and a bottom two from each group with a Golden Beaver presented to each winner. Mya Foxx won Snatch Game playing Theresa Caputo and chose to save Velma from the bottom while Van Goth took another win for her afterparty design, saving PM with her opportunity.

It meant Karamilk and Star Doll had to lip sync to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Tonight I'm Getting Over You", for which Star was sent home in an emotional exit.
4. Which "Drag Race" alumnus was brought in to mentor and judge the queens for Reading Battles in week four?

Answer: Alyssa Edwards

Although this episode started with a quick drag comedy challenge hosted by Carson Kressley (and won by Sami Landri), the bulk of this week's challenge involved the queens pairing up and sparring with each other in Reading Battles on the main stage, performing their best, pointed reads for the judges and a live studio audience with help and support from Alyssa Edwards, winner of "Global All Stars". Eboni La'Belle won this week, succeeding with both her Chemical Reaction runway and her comedy chops onstage, while hometown friends PM and Hazel lip synced to stay in the game. PM was saved by the judges; Hazel was sent home.
5. At the halfway point of the competition, the remaining teams had to host a daytime talk show called 'The Shade'. Which was not amongst their topics of discussion?

Answer: Drag Family

Week five took the queens over the halfway point of the season, and the nine queens still in the running started off with a karaoke quick-drag challenge with Traci Melchior before getting into their daytime TV best bringing drama and tea to the airwaves on a brand-new show called 'The Shade' in which they bantered amongst each other with a theme in-hand and showed off their live, on-air proficiency. On the main stage, the queens' category was 'A Perp Walk to Remember', and while some queens excelled, others failed to meet the brief. Sami Landri won the episode for being the best mediator in the challenge while Dulce and Karamilk performed a track by guest judge Kiesza. Dulce was sent home.
6. Which queen won this season's Lip Sync Slay Off Extravaganza?

Answer: Eboni La'Belle

Heading into week six, the queens were informed that two of the eight contestants would be going home, a consequence of losing the third annual Lip Sync Slay Off Extravaganza, pitting them against one another on the main stage in an elimination bracket.

At the end of the bracket, Eboni beat Saltina out to Pink's "U + UR Hand", using the Golden Beaver to protect Van Goth from the final lip sync. It put Velma Jones, Mya Foxx, and PM in the bottom three where, after the last performance to Sarah McLachlan's "Sweet Surrender", PM was the final queen spared from going home.
7. For 'Paris (Ontario) Fashion Week', the queens had to design looks that could be worn by who of these?

Answer: Brooke Lynn Hytes

In week seven, only six queens remained, and after a quick-drag mini-challenge pretending to sell a new fragrance with Sarain Fox, the contestants were surprised with the return of the 'design for Brooke Lynn' design challenge, forcing them not only to bring their own looks to the runway, but a new one, made from scratch, for their host. Everyone would be walking for Paris (Ontario) Fashion Week, but while the contestants presented their best 'Spring, Summer' looks, Brooke would need to be dressed in the show-stopping closing numbers. Van Goth took the win this week, and with no Golden Beaver in play, Saltina Shaker and PM dropped to the bottom, with Saltina being sent home in a surprise elimination.
8. The penultimate episode of the season featured a gauntlet of challenges. Which was not amongst them?

Answer: Interview

To earn their spot in the finale, the final five queens had to go through a gauntlet of challenges testing their Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent, in that order, and winning one of them would secure a coveted spot and a $2,500 CAD prize.

The first of these, 'Charisma', had the queens rapping on the main stage about one of the first five seasons of "Canada's Drag Race" (and PM won this one); the second was 'Uniqueness', a design challenge in which the queens had to makeover a little, black dress (which Van Goth won); the third was 'Nerve', involving the reading of a dramatic monologue on the main stage, which was won by Eboni.

It left the final challenge to be a lip sync for their lives between Karamilk and Sami Landri to Vita Chambers' "Fix You". Sami ultimately took the last spot, sending Karamilk home.
9. The final four were tasked with performing which of these on the main stage in their last challenge?

Answer: Full, unique original tracks

The finale episode of the season had the top four queens writing and recording original tracks that they would need to perform alongside choreography devised by Hollywood Jade, and after a one-on-one photoshoot with Season 5 winner The Virgo Queen, they spent time with guest judge Rufus Wainwright taking on their vocals. On the main stage, PM performed 'Bottoms Up', Van Goth laid down 'The Villain', Sami Landri showed off 'Hey Sami Landri', and Eboni La'Belle sang 'Rags to Riches'.

Naturally, all of this culminated in one last runway featuring the queens' Coronation Eleganza, including the reunion of all eliminated contestants for the season.
10. Which queen won "Canada's Drag Race" Season 6?

Answer: Van Goth

After one last Untucked in the workroom, all queens proceeded to the main stage where Season 5 Miss Congeniality Jaylene Time awarded Hazel with the Shark Beauty-sponsored prize, giving her $10,000 CAD for being most congenial of the queens this year.

After Brooke and the judges narrowed the playing field to Van Goth and Eboni La'Belle, and asked them to perform a final lip sync for the crown to Chappell Roan's "Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl", it was Van Goth who was awarded $100,000 CAD, the crown, the sceptre, and the title with Sami Landri winning the post-show 'Fan Favourite' award of $5,000.
