Answer: Tyler slashing himself

Wednesday explains to Tyler how she knows that he is the Hyde that has killed six people recently in the town of Jericho. Wednesday confesses to Tyler that him slashing himself while they were exploring the old Gates Mansion was certainly a great act to throw her off of his trail as the Hyde. Wednesday enlists some of her fellow Nevermore Academy students to take Tyler to Xavier's art studio where she ties him to a chair and interrogates him. Tyler continues to deny her accusations so she begins to taser him.

At this point the other students that were with her leave as they don't want to take part in Wednesday torturing Tyler.

Answer: What does it feel like to lose?

Tyler asks Wednesday "what does it feel like to lose" as she is about to leave the police station. He then goes on to confess that he is the murderous Hyde and that at first he didn't recall anything from his transformations but now he revels when he transforms and commits acts of violence. Of course Wednesday doesn't accept defeat and she plans how she will take down Tyler and his accomplice.

Answer: Ms. Thornhill

Ms. Thornhill gives Wednesday white oleander flowers and tells her that she will be missed and she is sorry Nevermore Academy didn't work out for her. Interestingly, upon first meeting Wednesday, Ms. Thornhill gave her black dahlia flowers. Both white oleander and black dahlia have names or properties associated with death.

Although Wednesday didn't admit that she had friends, many of the other students are sad to see that Wednesday was to be expelled, especially her roommate Enid Sinclair.

Answer: Red boots

Eugene tells Wednesday that when the Hyde's cave was set on fire the explosion lit up the area long enough for him to see that the arsonist was wearing red boots. Immediately Wednesday realizes that Ms. Thornhill is the Hyde's accomplice as she wears red boots and frequently visits Tyler at the Weathervane Cafe. Ms. Thornhill was able to initiate Tyler's transformations by giving him traumatic information about his dead mother and by using plant-based concoctions.

Answer: Laurel Gates

While Ms. Thornhill is being confronted by Wednesday Addams in the conservatory it appears that Tyler enters after which she confesses to helping Tyler transform into the Hyde to kill. She then commands Tyler to transform into the Hyde and kill Wednesday.

However, it was really just Principal Weems shapeshifted to look like Tyler. As Ms. Thornhill stabs Principal Weems with nightshade poisoning she emphatically states that her real name is Laurel Gates. We learned earlier in the season that Laurel Gates was presumed dead decades ago in an apparent drowning near London.

Answer: Wednesday Addams

Ms. Thornhill was the alias of Laurel Gates and she intended to bring back Joseph Crackstone from the dead so he can fulfill his vision to rid the world of outcasts. Centuries prior Joseph Crackstone was killed by Goody Addams after he had killed her mother and dozens of other outcasts.

When Goody killed him she also destroyed his soul with a blood lock that could only be undone with the blood of one of her ancestors. With the blood of Wednesday Addams, Ms. Thornhill is able to reanimate Joseph Crackstone who upon waking up stabs Wednesday thinking she is Goody Addams.

Answer: Enid Sinclair

Throughout the first season of "Wednesday", Enid Sinclair couldn't fully 'wolf out' much to the disappointment of her mother. However, when Enid saw Wednesday about to be killed by the Hyde she was able to transform into a werewolf and fight the Hyde. Both Tyler as the Hyde and Enid as a werewolf sustain injuries in their fight but they both survive.

Answer: Wednesday Addams

Xavier has a crush on Wednesday that she did not reciprocate throughout the first season. Additionally, Wednesday suspected Xavier of being the Hyde and played a part in him being put in jail. She feels guilty about all of this and ends up taking an arrow for Xavier. Prior to being struck with the arrow Wednesday's sword was broken by Crackstone.

Answer: Bianca Barclay

It is fitting that Bianca saves Wednesday's life as they had a bitter rivalry for most of the season but they eventually respect each other. After Bianca weakens Crackstone, Wednesday is able to deliver the death blow by stabbing his black heart as she was instructed in a vision by Goody Addams. Shortly after Eugene releases a swarm of bees to attack Ms. Thornhill (alias of Laurel Gates).

Answer: Xavier Thorpe

A running joke throughout the first season of "Wednesday" was about how Wednesday did not own a cell phone or use a lot of modern technology. Xavier wants to rectify that so he gives Wednesday a cell phone. She says that he shouldn't expect a call from her so he tells her that he'd be happy if she texted him.

Seemingly setting up a second season, Wednesday receives a text showing images of her with a gory emoji of a knife going through a head.
