Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: Omenkiller Rollo

Omenkiller Rollo is an immensely powerful spirit, arguably top three in the entire game. He powerstances the Great Omenkiller Cleaver, and he is very aggressive using these two weapons. His backstop maneuver whilst breathing fire in front of him gives him a defensive maneuver he can use to avoid damage as well.

2. This spirit can be anything the player wants! It is found inside Nokron, the Eternal City.

Answer: Mimic Tear

The Mimic Tear, upon being called by the player, will immediately transform into the player and copy their build completely. Clever players can equip the Mimic Tear with an item the player themselves doesn't intend to use, such as the Shabiri's Woe to allow the Mimic Tear to better draw aggro for the player. Additionally, if the player has build flexibility, they could cause the Mimic to turn into something that synergizes with the player, such as being equipped with more healing tools to complement the player being a tank of sorts.

3. Starscourge Radahn's second in command, this spirit can be found at the War-Dead Catacombs.

Answer: Redmane Knight Ohga

Ohga is relatively rare in that he is a spirit with the ability to fight with ranged and melee combat. He gets a sized down version of the Lion Greatbow, Radahn's bow, and has an infinite amount of Radahn's Spears to use with it. If an enemy gets into Ohga's face, he will put the bow away and take out a greatsword and greatshield to engage them in melee combat.

4. Malenia, Goddess of Rot's second in command, this spirit can be found within Elphael of the Haligtree.

Answer: Cleanrot Knight Finlay

This is pretty much a copy/paste of a typical Cleanrot Knight, which is incredibly powerful for the player to gain the services of given that it's a mini boss enemy. Finlay is noticeably more aggressive than the average Cleanrot Knight.

5. A Mausoleum Knight, this one can be found at the Tombsward Catacombs in Limgrave.

Answer: Lhutel the Headless

As a Mausoleum Knight, Lhutel has both the ability to throw her spear and have it teleport to her hand right away as well as teleport herself away at any given moment. This bodes incredibly well for her survivability and helps to greatly complement her aggressiveness, letting her do top notch damage and stick around for a very long time.

Answer: Latenna the Albinauric

Latenna has outstanding range, by far the highest range out of any character to wield a bow in the entire game. Unfortunately, she is very fragile and will not move at all even if an enemy gets right in her face. As such, the player would do well to find a spot to spawn her, do so, then get the attention of the enemy or enemies they're trying to fight, as to allow themselves to steer said enemies away from Latenna's position.

Answer: Crystalian

Crystalians are absurdly tanky, by far the most survivability of any spirit in the game. Their enormous resistance to non-Strike weapons means they can straight up solo most bosses which do not wield such weaponry- though they are very weak, and it will take them forever to actually kill their target.

They are ideal for spellcasters, as they make for perfect tanks to complement the fragility of such a build.

8. This is the first spirit the player can possibly access in the entire game. It is found inside the Fringefolk Hero's Grave in Limgrave.

Answer: Banished Knight Oleg

Oleg may not be a legendary spirit, but his performance meets or even surpasses most of them. He powerstances two Lordsworn Straight Swords, and he has the Ash of War Stormcaller on one of them. He will frequently spam Stormcaller or left handed light attacks against whoever he is attacking, both dealing excellent damage. His only weakness is being very easy to guard break.

While it may seem odd that the game would give the player such a good sprit right out of the game, they will have to go through a boss fight (Ulcerating Tree Spirit) who is far overleveled for a player just beginning the game to get Oleg. As such, most players will likely decline to do so.

9. The only spirit who wields Destined Death, this spirit died protecting her mother on the night Godefroy the Grafted was assassinated. This spirit can be found at the Ringleader's Evergaol.

Answer: Black Knife Tiche

Specifically, the player must defeat Alecto the Black Knife Leader in order to receive access to Tiche. Tiche is one of the most agile spirits in the game, and Destined Death triggered via her Black Knife is extremely powerful. This alone makes Tiche arguably the best spirit in the entire game.

10. This spirit wields lightning powers but mainly attacks with a spear and greatshield. It can be found at the Sainted Hero's Grave in Leyndell.

Answer: Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff

Kristoff's homing properties on his lightning strike attack make his damage output remarkably consistent, even against highly mobile enemies. He puts the greatshield to good use as well, enhancing his survivability. Overall, Kristoff is a very strong choice for a spirit.
