Boo follows you around, trying to catch you. However, they are shy, and if you look at them, they quit moving. The name comes from the late singer Bo Diddley.

2. The big boss of the evil Koopa Troop.

Answer: Bowser

To rescue the Princess, you must defeat Bowser in Dark Land and win the game. There are three ways to defeat him:
1, Move around without getting hit so he will jump and cause the blocks to break under him (sending him into a pit), but don't fall in with him and die as well!
2. Hit him with thirty-five fireballs.
3. Hit him with three hammers.

If you save the Princess and start over without resetting, she gives you twenty-eight P-wings in your inventory box. P-wing stands for Paratroopa-wing.

Big Bertha is a Cheep-Cheep character. The Cheep-Cheeps are found mainly in the water. Some are also jumpers. Essentially they are all the same but with different names. Big Bertha swims underwater. If you crash into her or her babies, you will shrink, or if you are small, you'll die.

Meanwhile, Big Bass swims up top and will jump out and try to eat you.

4. Found in the water, this looks like a squid and follows you around.

Bloobers are in the water and move diagonally around. If they get you, it could be bad. Sometimes she has her children with her. If she lets them loose, that's even more trouble for you, so beware!

Chain Chomp can kill when connected or disconnected, so don't get too close. If you are invincible (star power), you can run through and kill them. You can also use a Koopa shell or hammer (as Hammer Mario), or when Tanooki Mario is a statue, jump on them.

Answer: Thwomp

The Thwomps are rocks that are alive with faces. When a player gets to close or under they drop quickly. Timing is important. If you stand next to them they drop, then when they go up, run under them.

7. They throw blocks of ice at the player.

Answer: Buster Beetle

The Buster Beetles are fast and mean. When they see you, they will try and hit you with a block of ice. You can jump over the ice or duck under when it comes at you.

Unlike other beetles, they are easily killed. Fireballs thrown by the player will destroy them, unlike the other beetles. Also, you can jump on them.

8. He is found in the sky but will try to swoop down and kill you.

Answer: Angry Sun

The Angry Sun can only be killed by a Koopa shell or a hammer but he is only in two worlds. He's in world two in Desert Land and 8-2, the Dark Land.

9. It's a Koopa Troopa in skeleton form.

Answer: Dry Bones

You can jump on Dry Bones and he will become a pile of bones, but move quickly because he will pull himself together and continue chasing you. He can only be destroyed with a star or a hammer.

Answer: Goomba

The only world that doesn't have Goombas is Dark Land. In World 5-3, Goomba hops in a shoe (known as Kuribo's Goomba); if you defeat him, you can use the shoe until the end of the level.
