The main rotor of a helicopter is used to provide, lift, forward, backwards, or side to side control by either turning to angle of attack on each rotor blade or tilting the rotor. To counteract the torque provided by the main rotor, most helicopters have a tail rotor which also helps turn the helicopter left or right.

Some helicopters such as the Boeing Chinook, Kaman HH-43 Huskie and Kamov Ka-50, use twin rotors to negate the need for a tail rotor. Another system uses is called NOTAR, (NO TAil Rotor) that uses the engine exhaust gases to counteract the torque provided by the main tail rotor.

Co-written with his former partner Tim Rice, the musical "Evita" centres around the life of Eva Peron, the wife of former Argentinian president Juan Peron, charting her meteoric rise to fame, and tragic death at an early age.

Better known for her crime novels, Agatha Christie wrote, "The Mousetrap" in the 1950s, originating from a radio play Christie had created called "Three Blind Mice". "The Mousetrap" has gone on to be one of the world's longest running theatre productions in London's West End.
