Indiana is a small town about 80 miles outside of Pittsburgh.
2. True or False: Jimmy didn't work in the theater during his career.

Answer: False

Jimmy did in fact work in the theater. He was in an acting club at Princeton (Triangle Club), was in the Unversity Players (that is where he met two young actors, Henry Fonda and Margaret Sullavan) in Cape Cod, he was on Broadway after college in 'Carrie Nation', 'Goodbye Again', 'Yellow Jack', and he also did Harvey 3 different times.

When he was young, he used to put on plays for the neighborhood in his basement. He usually played all the characters, and once was in drag in a play in college.
3. Jimmy was named after his grandfather.

Answer: True

His grandfather was the one who started the family hardware store in Indiana, Pa.
4. How many films did Jimmy make with June Allyson?

Answer: 3

This amazing on-screen couple made 'The Stratton Story', 'The Glenn Miller Story' and 'Strategic Air Command'.
