Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What was the first Pay Per View match of 1994?

Answer: Tatanka and Bam Bam Bigelow

It was at the 1994 "Royal Rumble". Tatanka won after a body press from the top rope.
2. Who drew number one in the "Royal Rumble" match?

Answer: Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner drew the first number. Samu drew number two. Rick would come in at number three. The brothers were alone in the ring, but never wrestled.
3. Bret Hart wrestled the second and last match at the tenth "Wrestlemania".

Answer: False

It was actually the first and last match of the night. He wrestled his brother Owen Hart to start off the night. He would come back later and defeat Yokozuna for the Heavyweight Title.
4. How many Tag Team matches took place at the tenth "Wrestlemania"?

Answer: 2

The first tag match was Doink and Dink taking on Luna and Bam Bam Bigelow. The second match was Quebecers taking on Men on a Mission. There was a third to take place which was a 10 Man, Tag Team Match but one team could not decide on who the captain was going to be. In reality it was cut to make time for the Ladder Match and main event.
5. Owen Hart won the 1994 "King of the Ring". Which move did he use to finish off Razor Ramon?

Answer: Flying Elbow Drop

Jim Neidhart came to the ring and clotheslined Ramon. He also threw Ramon into the post. He threw him back inside the ring. Owen then went to the top rope and nailed Ramon with an Elbow Drop.
6. The 1994 "King of the Ring" also had a Heavyweight Title match between Bret Hart and Diesel. How did Bret Hart win?

Answer: He didn't win

He didn't win this match. Jim Neidhart was at ringside for this match. Diesel was about to win the match but got clotheslined by Neidhart. It turned out that Neidhart saved Bret so Owen could be the one to defeat Bret for the belt. That never happened.
7. The 1994 "Summerslam" had which two wrestlers battling it out over the Intercontinental Title?

Answer: Diesel and Razor Ramon

Diesel and Razor Ramon battled it out for the Intercontinental Title. Shawn Michaels accidentally kicked Diesel and knocked him out. That allowed Ramon to win and regain the title.
8. How many main events were there at the 1994 "Summerslam"?

Answer: 2

The first of the two main events was Bret and Owen Hart battling it out in a Cage Match. They wrestled for over 30 minutes. They proved you can have a Cage Match without blood and it can still be good. The second main event featured the return of the Undertaker.

He took on another Undertaker who was introduced by Ted DiBiase. The Real Undertaker won after a few Tombstone Piledrivers. There's only one Undertaker and no one can imitate him.
9. The last Pay Per View of the year was the "Survivor Series". Which action movie star was at ringside during the Casket Match?

Answer: Chuck Norris

At the 1994 "Royal Rumble", Undertaker lost a Casket Match to Yokozuna with the assistance of a dozen men. Chuck was there to make sure there wasn't a repeat of that event. Bam Bam Bigelow and King Kong Bundy tried to make their way to Chuck but were stopped by referees.

As Undertaker and Chuck had their eyes on that Irwin R. Schyster was able to attack Undertaker. Also while the referees were pulling Bundy and Bigelow back Jeff Jarrett snuck by and was talking trash to Chuck. Chuck then kicked Jarrett in the jaw. Jarrett then ran away in fear and probably tears. Undertaker won that match.
10. Which city was the 1994 "Survivor Series" held at?

Answer: San Antonio

I attended this event and it was so cool to be there live. Before it went on the air Todd Pettengill, who was an announcer at that time, was riding around the arena floor on a horse. Thankfully the horse was calm and didn't run all over the seating area.

This event saw a title match between Bret Hart and Bob Backlund. Backlund won the match that night. Diesel also finally turned on Shawn Michaels after Michaels accidentally kicked Diesel. This was the third time and Diesel got fed up with it.
