3. What did Alex study in college?

Answer: Geophysics

Upon his graduation, Alex was surprised to get a visit from his brother Scott and the rest of the X-Men. He was even more surprised to be kidnapped by the Living Pharaoh! 4. As Havok, Alex had a hard time controlling his power. A fight with this other superpowered individual helped him control his powers.

Answer: The Hulk

After accidentally injuring Iceman with his powers, Havok quit the X-Men and isolated himself. Professor Xavier asked Lorna Dane to find Havok, and the search led to the desert and to the Hulk! 5. After many battles alongside the X-Men, Alex decided it was time for a vacation. Where did he and Wolverine travel to?

Answer: Mexico

The duo's luck ran out, as they ran afoul of Meltdown! The evil scientist used Alex as a pawn and was able to absorb his energy blasts to become stronger! Wolverine was able to stop the process in time, and Alex redirected the now-deadly energy into outer space. These events happened in the miniseries "Havok and Wolverine: Meltdown", debuting in 1988.
6. When Havok joins X-Factor, who is NOT a member of the team?

Answer: Quicksilver

Havok joins the team in issue #71, which debuted in 1991. Although Quicksilver is in the issue, as his power has made his aging accelerate, he is not a member of the team. At the end of the issue, it appears that Multiple Man has been shot.
7. In an alternate timeline, Alex led The Six. Who was not a member of the team?

Answer: Colossus

The Fallen was an alternate version of Archangel, Brute was an alternate version of Beast, and Bloodstorm was an alternate version of Storm. 8. Havok began a romance with Annie, a nurse who had helped him when he was comatose. What secret did she hide?

Answer: Her son was a mutant

Annie's son Carter had telepathic and telekinetic abilities. He made Annie and Havok fall in love, even though the latter was nothing more than a comatose patient at the time. Carter first appeared in "Uncanny X-Men" #411, which went on sale in 2002.
9. Havok was recruited by Professor X to go on a mission to stop Vulcan. Who of the following was NOT on the same team?

Answer: Gambit

In the 475th issue of "Uncanny X-Men", Professor X assembled a strike force to defeat Vulcan, the brother of Havok and Cyclops, and keep him from destroying the Shi'ar empire. The team consisted of Darwin, Havok, Marvel Girl, Nightcrawler, Warpath, and Polaris. The issue went on sale in 2006.
10. After Corsair's death, Havok joins the Starjammers. Who else joins?

Answer: Marvel Girl

Both Polaris and Marvel Girl join the Starjammers, whose goals are to defeat Vulcan and restore Princess Lilandra to the Shi'ar throne. Havok's father Corsair led the Starjammers for a number of years, but he was killed by Vulcan, his wayward son and Havok's brother. Havok enlisted in the group in the miniseries "X-Men: Emperor Vulcan", which debuted in 2007.
