Answer: Chicago

Chicago, Illinois was also home to the NFL's Bears and MLB's Cubs and White Sox. Chicago is located on the banks of Lake Michigan which is one of the five Great Lakes. The world's first skyscraper was built in Chicago. It is home to the Willis Tower, once known as the Sear's Tower, which is 1,451 feet tall, which made it the second tallest building in the United States in 2018.
2. If you wanted to see the 49'ers play football and the Dodgers play baseball, what US state would you have visited?

Answer: California

California is the third largest state in the USA. It had 16 different professional sports teams in 2018. The 49'ers played football in San Francisco and the Dodgers played baseball in Los Angeles. The Dodgers originally played in Brooklyn, New York but moved to California in 1958.

Answer: Philadelphia

The Colorado River is the river that flows through the Grand Canyon. The Yukon River flows through Alaska and Canada. Washington, D.C. is located on the Potomac River.
7. If I were watching the Nuggets or the Rockies play, I would have been in a US city with what nickname?

Answer: The Mile High City

The Nuggets, Rockies, Avalanche and Broncos all played in Denver, Colorado. It's called the Mile High City because it is located about one mile or 5,280 feet above sea level. The Windy City is Chicago, Illinois. New Orleans, Louisiana is called the Big Easy. The City by the Bay is San Francisco, California.
8. If I were watching the Seahawks or the Mariners play, which area of the USA would I have been in?

Answer: Northwest

The Seahawks and Mariners played in Seattle, Washington. Washington is the state that borders Canada, so it is in the north. It also is bordered by the Pacific Ocean which is the western border of the lower 48 states. This makes Washington in the northwest. Florida is the state that is in the opposite corner of the USA.

It is in the southern part of the US and the eastern side which makes it in the southeast.
9. If I were watching the Redskins play, I would have been closer to Canada than if I were watching the Bills play.

Answer: False

The Redskins played just outside of Washington, D.C. The Bills played in Buffalo, New York. Buffalo is actually located next to the border of the USA and Canada, so you would have been further away from Canada if you were watching the Redskins.
10. If I were watching the Astros play, in which general direction would I have need to head to see the Braves?

Answer: East

The Astros played baseball in Houston, Texas and the Braves played baseball in Atlanta, Georgia. Since Texas is located to the West of Georgia, I would have needed to travel toward the east to get to Georgia. I would have to leave Texas and travel through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and then into Georgia.
