The Baudelaires send a telegram to Mr Poe STOP. They wait all night for a reply STOP. The word STOP at the end of every sentence is how you end a sentence in a telegram STOP.

Answer: Heart-shaped

Volunteers Fighting Disease (VFD) carry heart-shaped balloons. They can't be the real VFD because they would be carrying eye-shaped balloons.

3. What instrument does the bearded man play?

Answer: Guitar

It is unlikely that the Baudelaires would be standing around listening to someone play the piano or the cello. It is however more likely that they are in a van listening to someone play the guitar or the violin. If you look at the lyrics of the VFD song you can work out that the bearded man is playing the guitar. It says in the text what he plays after the song.
