1. In which book does Tom have a tractor accident and lose his memory?

Answer: Where's My Girl?

Thankfully Tom's loss of memory is only temporary but it does cause him problems throughout the book. Poor Jenny is the girl in question that he is asking for.
2. Complete the following title : "The Elusive ......."

Answer: Grasshopper

The story actually opens in Paris where Penny Warrender is staying with her cousin Jon. However, the bulk of the action takes place on Romney Marsh which eventually proves be the haunt of the elusive grasshopper.
3. In which story does Jon meet a very upset Penny on the steps that lead down from Whitby Abbey?

Answer: Mystery Mine

This proves to be the first moment that Penny realises that Jon does have feelings for her. Her distress is almost worth it for she knows that things will never be the same.

Answer: Macbeth

The dog was named Macbeth because he made such a noise when he was a puppy that he kept all the family awake. Mr. Morton said he was just like Macbeth because he had "murdered sleep" as in Shakespeare's play.

Jon and Penny are the first of the "Lone Piners" to encounter Miss Ballinger. This happens on the train between London and Rye. Little do they realise what they are letting themselves in for.

Rosemary proves to be a member of the gang of crooks who are busy stealing Christmas trees in the run-up to Christmas? From her position up in the glider she can see the entire forest.

Answer: "The Gay Dolphin Adventure" and "Seawitch Comes Home"

In several of the stories set in Shropshire underground water coming to the surface does play a part. However, it is only in the two mentioned in the correct answer that the flooding comes from the sea.
