He told his children to attack Ron and Harry in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". Aragog dies in "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince". Hagrid is devastated.

Buckbeak is a hippogriff. Hippogriffs are half eagle and half horse. Draco annoys Buckbeak in Care of the Magical Creatures and he attacks him. Buckbeak was ordered to be executed but Harry and Hermione save him by using time travel. Sirius escaped on Buckbeak and when Sirius died he gave him to Harry. Harry gives him to Hagrid and they rechristen him Witherwings.

Hagrid shows the Thestrals to his fifth years. Harry can see them because he saw Cedric die. Luna can see them because she saw her mother die. Neville saw his grandfather die. The Thestrals pull the "Horseless" Carriages from Hogsmeade to Hogwarts.

Grawp is Hagrid's half brother. Hagrid is a half giant and Grawp is a full-blooded giant. Grawp is sixteen foot! Hagrid brings him back from the other giants and hides him in the Forbidden Forest. Grawp calls Hagrid Hagger and Hermione Hermy.

Hagrid names him Norbert. He won Norbert from a man in The Hogs Head. That man was really Voldemort. Voldemort tricked Hagrid into telling him how to put Fluffy to sleep. Norbert grows too big and some of Ron's brother's friends takes him to Romania. We find out in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" that Norbert was really a girl and they changed her name to Norberta.

Fluffy is Hagrid's three headed dog. He guards the trap door to where the Philosopher's Stone was hidden. to make Fluffy go to sleep, all you do is play music. Hagrid was tricked into telling Voldemort how to get him asleep.

Under the control of Tom Riddle, the basilisk kills any Muggleborn it can. (Most basilisks kill whatever comes their way; this one was given a mission!) Hermione works out that if you don't look at the basilisk through the naked eye you won't be killed, just petrified.

She tells Penelope Clearwater about it. They look around the corners with her mirror and get petrified. Mrs Norris, Colin Creevey, Hermione Granger, Penelope Clearwater, Nearly Headless Nick and Justin Finch-Fletchley are all petrified.

They are cured by mandrakes.

Animagus are people that can turn into animals. James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew are all unregistered animagus. Rita Skeeter is also an unregistered animagus. She is a beetle. Hermione found out her secret and trapped her in a jar. Sirius escaped Azkaban in his animagus form.

Answer: Goblins

Griphook and Gornuk are two examples of goblins. Griphook showed Harry to his vault in "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone". He claimed that goblins made Gryffindor's Sword and Godric Gryffindor stole it from them. J K Rowling later says in an interview that that isn't true.
