In the book, the Wexlers were the first people mentioned who toured Sunset Towers. Sydelle Pulaski was second, and the others were not specifically mentioned. Grace Wexler was the most eager to move in, thrilled by the lake view and the beautiful apartment.

Otis Amber, the delivery boy for Sunset Towers, was actually 62 years old when the story took place. However, he still made deliveries on his bicycle.

Dr. Sidney Sikes, Westing's best friend, was with him in the car accident, and helped him operate the Westing Game. Edgar Jennings Plum was the bumbling young lawyer that executed his will. Conrad Scultz was the president of a sausage company that Sydelle Pulaski used to work for, and Julian R. Eastman was an alias of Samuel Westing.
14. What day did Samuel Westing die?

Answer: The 4th of July

Sam Westing, a great patriot, died on the 4th of July, as he had written in his will, and was buried in his Uncle Sam costume, which he had been known for wearing at his parties on the 4th of July every year. Only Turtle knew when he really died, because he was now known as Julian R. Eastman, and had willed most of his large fortune to Turtle.
15. Who won the Westing Game?

Answer: Turtle Wexler

Turtle figured out the answer to the Westing Game at the end. Everybody believed that Sam Westing died as Sandy McSouthers, but Turtle knew that he had actualy changed his identity again. Windy Windkloppel did not die, but took on four aliases: Samuel Westing, Barney Northrup, Sandy McSouthers, and Julian Eastman. Turtle realized that they were directions, and found the fourth alias, Julian Eastman, who was Sam Westing. Turtle remained friends with Julian Eastman until he died, and received the inheritance, never telling anyone that she had solved the Westing Game.
