Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In August of 1887, two strange children were found near a cave in the farming town of Banjos, Spain with green skin? Is this true?

Answer: No

The legend states that one of the children, a girl, after learning to speak Spanish said that they came from a 'land with no sun; the people there, all green skinned, lived in a perpetual twilight. There was a land of light, but it was beyond a great water.' She also said that she and her brother were pushed through something.
It also appears to be a retelling of a 12th century tale in England, unable to be verified.
2. Chupacabra, Central America's version of the Bigfoot, loves to suck on some blood. In what area of the body does the Chupacabra ALWAYS strike?

Answer: Throat

The Chupacabra has never been caught on film and has even been reported in the metropolitan area of Mexico City, where scientists found a bird with Chupacabra's signature (two long bite marks in the neck) and two sightings in a factory.
3. The Jersey Devil was first spotted in what New Jersey city?

Answer: Leeds Point

The legend started when Mrs Leed found out she was pregnant with her thirteenth child. She cursed the child saying, 'I wish this child be born a devil'. When the birth came, the baby was fine, but then it started to grow the characteristics of what the Jersey Devil now looks like.
4. There are many explanations and theories for flying rods. Which of these is arguably the most popular?

Answer: Undiscovered Insect

Some of the most popular explanations are that they are tiny alien ships, it's a hoax, they're mutated insects, they're tiny dragons, and also that people who see them are on drugs. Personally, I believe they are a hoax.
5. In which European country are strange big cats being found?

Answer: England

Yes, big cats are supposed to exist, but not naturally in England. There are very few footages and videos for big cats, but people are convinced that something is there, generally on the moors.
6. Thunderbirds are rare. Very rare. How many pictures and eyewitness accounts of thunderbirds are there?

Answer: 1

The one thunderbird sighting and picture is of one nailed to a wall with six men standing by it to demonstrate the size. The original picture is not known, but there are rare photocopies.
7. Only a few globsters have been found around the world, the two most famous ones in Tasmania and Bermuda. Which of these is not a trait of either globster?

Answer: Not Hairy

8. Earth Lights that appear over Marfa, Texas, are typically what color?

Answer: White

Marfa, a small town in Texas, is also known for the location of two movies that have taken place in it.
9. On which continent is Yeti a name for an unidentified primate?

Answer: asia

10. In which country can you find Nessie, the elusive sea serpent?

Answer: great britain
