Leopards are medium-sized wildcats natively found in sub-Saharan Africa and southern Asia.

Leopards were at one time thought to be a hybrid of the lion and the jaguar.

Leopards primarily hunt medium-sized mammals, such as deer and warthogs. These are often ambushed from branches above or dense vegetation.

In appearance, leopards vary greatly in their colouration and markings, depending on their surroundings. The dark, ring-like patterns on the leopard's coat are called rosettes. These turn to solid spots on the face and limbs and rings on the tail. All aid the leopard in camouflage.

Her second album "Born This Way" (2011) topped the charts in more than 20 countries.

She went on to become one of the best-selling music artists of all time, and also turned to television roles and starred in "American Horror Story: Hotel" in 2015, for which she won a Golden Globe.

Gaga was also noted for her social activism and for her philanthropy.

This reign, 72 years and 110 days, became the longest of any monarch of a sovereign country in Europe. He was four when he succeeded to the throne. His mother was regent for hm.

France was almost constantly at war during his reign and he became so unpopular that crowds jeered as his funeral cortege passed.

He was known as 'the sun king' after adopting the sun as his symbol.

The film focussed on Lawrence's experiences in the Arabian Peninsula during World War I. It explored the divided allegiance Lawrence felt for his home country and for the people he met in the Middle East.

In 1804 Meriwether Lewis and his fellow explorer William Clarke began a three-year journey to document and map the Louisiana Purchase from France.

They covered 8,000 miles (13,000km) on the Ohio River, and Missouri River, across the Continental Divide, and to the Pacific Ocean.

Lewis died on October 12, 1809, at an inn near Nashville, Tennessee. Some people believed he took his own life, others believe he was murdered.

Lada was the brand name given for export cars from the Soviet Union. The first cars were built in the 1960s and were a collaboration with the Italian company, Fiat.

In truth, Ladas rarely matched the sophistication of Japanese or Western European cars. The most popular models were soviet versions of Fiats, notably the 124.

Still, Lada produced cheap cars that met a need and were exported worldwide - to virtually every country except the USA.

They were cheap and a reputation for poor quality created a whole range of jokes. For example: What's the difference between a Lada and a golf ball? You can drive a golf ball 200 metres.
