Answer: rose

The rose family is a medium-sized plant family (about 4,800 species) and one of the most economically important. As well as flowers and flowering shrubs it includes several fruits, berries and almonds.
2. Who was the Egyptian goddess whose feather determined whether a Pharaoh would enjoy an afterlife or suffer the worst fate?

Answer: Maat

When a pharaoh died, Anubis, the jackal-headed god of the afterlife would place his heart on a balance scale. Maat would enter the room and remove an ostrich plume (the "Feather of Maat") from her headdress, which would be placed on the other side of the scale. If the Pharaoh's heart was as light as the feather or lighter he would be sent to a happy afterlife.

However, if the heart was heavier than the feather (because of transgressions on the pharaoh's part) it would be eaten by the goddess Ammit and the Pharaoh would remain in the underworld for eternity.

The boomslang lives in southern Africa. Boomslang is an Afrikaans word meaning tree (boom) snake (slang); they are primarily tree dwellers. They are highly venomous. They can grow to 5.2 ft. (160 cm.). The male is bright green; the female is a dull olive brown.

Blue whales have been around since the Middle Pleistocene age, about 300.000 years ago. They are the largest known mammal. Their hearts can reach 5 ft.(1.5m) in length and pump 58 gal (220 l) of blood with each beat. Water is a good carrier of sound and the blue whale's heartbeat can be heard up to 2 miles away.

Answer: 3

Although Elvis had 18 number one hit records he only got three Grammy awards and all three were in gospel music categories. His first was in 1967 for his version of "How Great Thou Art".
7. What is the name for a group of unicorns?

Answer: blessing

Unicorns are considered to be symbols of innocence and good luck so seeing a group of them would be a blessing indeed! The other possible answers refer to groups of plain old everyday horses.

The cardinal is the state bird of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. Their habitat is eastern Canada and the eastern U.S. down into Central America. They usually do not migrate and the bright red color of the male is a welcome sight in snow-country winters. The next most popular bird is the western meadowlark, the favorite of six U.S. states.
9. What is the sum of all the numbers on a roulette wheel?

Answer: 666

Well, roulette has been called "The Devil's Wheel" and 666 is reputed to be the number of the beast. The roulette wheel apparently can be traced to French mathematician Blaise Pascal's attempt to make a perpetual motion machine. Roulette is a popular casino game and has one of the lower house advantages at 2.76% to 5.26%.
10. What is Cookie Monster's first name?

Answer: Sid

A character on "Sesame Street" since episode 1, Cookie Monster is usually identified with cookies and snacks but has professed an awareness of healthy eating. On the April 7, 2004 episode of "Sesame Street" he mentioned that when he was young he thought his name was Sid or Sidney. Among his family members is a cousin who looks just like him but does not like cookies.
